Is there anything you don't bother to log?

I know the general consensus is to log every single thing that passes our lips, but is there anything you don't bother to write down?
I don't log vinegar, soy sauce, Tabasco, fresh and dried herbs, low calorie spray oil, spices, sweetener, diet soda like Coke Zero, and there's a certain brand of jerk paste I buy that doesn't have a nutrition label so I have never bothered to log that either. Also, sometimes if I'm prepping breakfast for the following morning I might lick the spoon after weighing out whatever I flavour it with, and I have never written it into my food diary.
I can't be the only one who does this?

I dont log diet soda, but I do log my cups of tea with milk and sweetener. I dont lick or taste, so thats not an issue, and I usually have plenty of calories left over at the end of the day for any random variances I may have let slide.5

Pretty much like you - spices, hot sauce, yellow mustard, vinegar. Also, unsweetened teas and coffees. When I'm being well-behaved with my logging, I log everything but these things.4

I don't log fresh herbs, spices, mustard, and other very low calorie items like that.
I can't imagine cooking without tasting what I'm doing, but don't log that unless it's a lot of something high calorie or an unusually high volume of tasting. A taste could be 1/8 teaspoon or smaller, and I'm not going to fuss over something minuscule like that. However, when I'm making potato salad, my tastes are much bigger, so I do guestimate that.2 -
I don't log the milk in my tea, that will always be free since I can't function without it!6

Does Soy sauce even have calories? Tobasco? Herbs and spices don't have calorie counts so I don't see why you would...diet drinks don't have calories either so I wouldn't see the point.
When I logged, I didn't log things that were zero calories...also, if I was just throwing a splash of hot sauce on something, I wouldn't have bothered logging that either.

That's pretty much what I do as well (plus black coffee and squeezes of lemon juice) but when I was losing I usually "quick added" 100 calories a day to catch stuff like that without the finickiness of measuring splashes of hot sauce etc.
I've been maintaining for a long time so I am much looser with it these days and basically just log for a ballpark number so I rarely bother worrying about non-oil based condiments, but when I was trying to lose weight my numbers had to be pretty precise as I'm not a large person and could only have a small deficit if I wanted to eat more than 1000 calories a day.5 -

Salsa, hot sauce, spinach, mushrooms, and other things that only add up to less than 10 or 15 calories. I'm usually under my daily calorie allotment anyway so a few un-logged calories aren't a big deal.3

If I have rye toast for breakfast, I use a drop of honey and log it once in a while just for the accountability. I used to lick and taste but I don't anymore only because it led to "cleaning up" after dinner. I don't log diet soda but I do log coffee when I use a tblsp. of flavored creamer.

People interested in sodium would want to log soy sauce. San-J thinks one serving is 1 T (I probably use more like 1 t) and lists 10 calories and 980 mg of sodium.10 -

Soy sauce is something like 9 calories a tablespoon, same with vinegar. Tabasco and other hot sauces are ridiculously low like 1 calorie a teaspoon, and it's the same with herbs and spices. Some diet sodas have calories as well. Coke Zero has 1 or 2 per can and I have bought some other diet drinks that are a few calorie per 250ml and there are days when I will drink 2 litres of the stuff, so it's not exactly zero calorie food but it's low enough that I don't see the point in logging it either.1 -
Salads...I try to hit the big items in the salad....eggs, dressing, beans, tomato, lettuce/spinach. If a little carrot ends up in there or some onion, meh.
But don't go pile on some lump of cheese and forget to log it. After all, your body logs it. It logs everything. No pun intended.11 -
Related note.... Coffee...I put 1% milk in my coffee and never bothered to check how much. its about 40 cal worth. 3/8 of a cup. A few days into MFP, I made sure I was logging that too.2

Low calorie or not, I log everything; even vitamins, black coffee, and gum. I have no room for error (beyond label rounding) and am extremely detail oriented with regard to my data though.6

I don't log water and I don't always log spices. If something has calories I log it, if not then I don't.3

Water, zero coke, salt(I don't track sodium) and pepper I do other herbs and spices because they can have some calories. I don't track tastes while cooking and I occasionally lick the knife (Nutella or peanut butter should not be left) that I don't log, I'm still losing so if that stops I may be stricter with myself.1

I don't bother to log water after the 64th oz consumed. My daughter seems to have lost one of my measure spoons so I'm not measuring my spices. I'm just shaking it out of the box. Last night I got home later than I had hoped and did not want to prepare my planned dinner, but I did not want to have a calorie or sodium excursion either, so I selected some low- and no-sodium things to consume in the general direction of nutrition for my needs and logged the rough information on the cans and packages while weighing only the apple. Yesterday was the first day I became aware that my weight loss journey has crossed into the Overweight range of BMI below 30, and I didn't want to put the train in 'reverse' just yet.2

Unsweetened coffee, tea, water. Also hot sauce, spices, the little bit of cocoa powder I shake into my smoothies, mustard. Sometimes I log soy sauce and nutritional yeast, sometimes I don't bother.2

I don't log 0 calorie drinks (water, tea, black coffee, diet soda), mustard, spices, gum, or mints. I log salsa and hot sauce but I don't really measure it out, I usually just log whatever 1 serving is. Also, when I'm scooping something out with a spoon I will usually lick the spoon and log any additional calories for what I scooped with said spoon.0

I log everything, including my peppermint tea (0 calories) and my multivitamin.
But then, my diet isn't incredibly complicated.0 -
I don't log some condiments, black coffee or black tea (most of what I drink has no calories anyway), sugarless gum, most of the items I log I over-log so it guarantees me with a nice deficit at the end of the day. If I should have that small piece of chocolate or a cookie or something I consider it a wash0

No I log everything, even diet soda/zero calorie drinks and gum lol. Diet soda mostly so I just know how much I drank that day and because diet soda has a good amount of sodium and I like to track sodium just in case in gain weight so I can go back and see what made me retain water. I feel like you should log the oil spray though because it says 0 calories on the can but its actually around 10 calories for a 1 second spray. I'm sure you know that already but I didn't, I thought it was 0 calories before lol.3
