Ya, @kwtilbury I definitely questioned that nutritional information ;) Go Tim Hortons. For the record * I do not usually eat 2 donuts a day lol. I just wanted to use the donut day as an example to explain my confusion. *

Thank you guys - this is making sense to me :) @lemurcat12 Thank you for your feedback - definitely helpful. The protein smoothie is 1 cup of dark chocolate almond milk, 1 cup frozen berry mix (blueberries, raspberry, blackberry & strawberry) 1/3 banana. tbsp hemp protein powder.

LOL yes - 2 out of the 3 anyway - no dinner yet today and screen shots taken too early on the other - with the donut day being a hot mess of a day that no planning could account for :/ But that's just life with kids sometimes. I generally get my calories "out" early in the day too - I run before work, and have gym classes…

This. I went to winners and bought legging style shorts, and a longer tank top to cover my butt lol. I also bought running shorts with compression shorts attached = no. they just rolled up and made my run unbareable. Legging shorts that come to the knee!

I'm in a weird spot at the moment, where I feel like I'm eating all my calories - but I'm not really hungry, so eating more feels counter-intuitive. (but then, I don't have a food scale, so maybe I'm already eating more.)

Thank you all - I will buy a food scale. I would still really be interested in understanding how one determines if they do in fact need to be eating more calories than MFP is suggesting.

I'm not purposefully going Keto, but I haven't lost any weight sticking to the macros MFP has provided. I increased my exercise, and have been eating low carb - have not lost a single pound in 6 weeks. So I'm wondering if I need to switch up what I'm eating... I have yet to find what works for me.

Can you explain why though? I used this Keto calculator (and I'm just learning about the balance of good calories). It was suggested that higher protein would be more beneficial?
