I hear ya sista, I love having a few glasses of wine over dinner/evening with my hubby. While cooking supper, eating supper or winding down in the evening. It's not something that I am willing to give up, so I log the calories, the good, the bad and the ugly. It is what it is. :)

I try not to eat anything with artificial sweetners, I use natural sweetners. I would get bloated and have a stomach ache when I use them.

I use olive oil in a mister...it works great, spray it on salads, use it for pans when cooking, love it, got it at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

I had back surgery 3 days ago...I can hardly wait to get back at my walks. biking, weights, etc. I was basically in a chair for a month before and now will be on restrictions for 6-8 weeks.

Put porkchops in baking dish, peel an apple and cut into slices, place on chops, slice some onion, throw that on top of the chops, sprinkle each chop with a little brown sugar and bake, super delicious and easy!

Steel cut oats, 1 Tbsp of wheat germ, ground flaxseed, fruit and agave :) Yum!

You look amazing! I agree, age is just a number, I am almost 50 years old and feel great, it's all about the life style, your choices and fitness...Nicely done and love the advice for others!

I love frozen grapes, also I will mix a can of tuna with a Tbsp of slivered almonds, add cayenne pepper and Miracle whip light...mix well, yum!

Heart Attack In A Sack....no greasy food for this lady, it's quite easy to bypass fast food joints!
