I am a highly motivated Type A competitive human being to the point where it may not be so good. I recently have been having boy troubles and I have been super motivated in the gym because of it. Also, when I had a very tough last semester, I was in the gym almost every day sweating it out. Proving to myself I have the…

I laughed multiple times reading this thread. “How many calories does dying burn?”😂😂😂 If I knew the day I was going to die my diary would be so crazy. And yes, Taco Bell, Mexican food, spaghetti, pizza, and cake would all make an appearance!

I saw pics of myself at my binge eating sedentary lifestyle a few years ago and decided I did not want to be that person. Now I enjoy looking at my reflection as I pass by, seeing the changes. Stress relief Longevity/health I am enjoying learning discipline of eating healthy and hitting the gym

I agree with this. It took me forever to figure out the cal deficit thing. But timing when I eat (basically have small lunch, snacks, and huge dinner ) plus funding lower cal alternatives helped me. Mainly shopping the perimeter of the grocery store where the protein and veggies foods are is a big key to success! Halo top…

Thanks to months of weightlifting and running, I just found out today that I am no longer in the “overweight” BMI category. I’m a huge fan of weightlifting. It’s a lot of fun! I’m going to keep lifting even after I reach target weight.

Today’s workout was 5 miles jogging on treadmill + five minute cool down.

That’s AMAZING!

Fitbod is hands down the best app and the only app you will need. There’s a free trial, highly recommend. Voted number one app by Men’s Magazine this January. I’ve been using it for a few months now and their gifs on how to do the workouts have helped me learn so much and feel confident in the weight room. The app uses…

Sounds like a net loss overall though! And good for you. I love lifting these days. Isn’t it such a confidence booster?

I used to as well. Start small! Set a target each time you practice. Targets can be by distance or time. For example, if you decide time (best choice IMO) just tell yourself you’ll be outside or on the treadmill alternating jogging and walking for 20 mins. Do what you feel like during that time. Increase it to 30 then 40…

Gained back 3 pounds out of the 8 I’ve lost so far but that will likely drop a bit hopefully as I cook healthy foods and it evens out #iaintstressinit

Someone took a full body pic of me and I could really see a difference for the first time! I’m the one in black.

I like planks. I mean they kinda suck but they feel most effective. I also really like using the bosu ball for crunches and half push ups. The leg raise stand thing is awesome too.

I was super inspired by this forum and have been hitting the iron hard! There is a 19 day difference between the two photos. I can’t wait to compare again in a month!!!
