What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I'm finally in the double digits for weight lost! 10 pounds. Next goal is to get through this month the way I did the last 2 months to lose the first 10.9
-
6.8 more pounds to lose before I reach normal BMI!!!18
-
Mine is to get below 200. I was at 200.8 this morning so I'm so close!11
-
1.5 more pounds; and I can celebrate no longer being "super," and becoming merely "morbid!"
(I plan to dress like a goth undertaker throughout the next five BMI points.)12 -
To continue to see progress in both my diet and fitness. I love discovering the minutest change in my muscles. It is very empowering!4
-
I would love to go down a size in jeans. My current ones are getting looser. I'm hoping it will happen in the next 2 months.5
-
Be firmly in the next pant size down. I can wiggle into them, but my mom pooch has made it difficult to look good.5
-
3 weeks until my birthday trip back to Ireland and I wanted to be back to my pre wedding weight before going and I’m 2 pounds off!!!6
-
-6 Kg. by December 31st.1
-
To get my eating under control. Ugh.6
-
14 pounds from my high school weight. Stupid, useless goal, but a goal nonetheless. I should be vastly entrenched in a size 6 at that point. And my running should be vastly improved by that.3
-
To slide my jeans on without dancing a jig (hopping, twisting, squatting, bending) to get them up. Need a nap after getting dressed15

Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.
Mini-goal 1 achieved this morning! 😀
(Existing) Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.
(New) Mini-goal 3: Build enough strength to start a progressive lifting programme like stronglifts. Aiming for early October. (Hopefully sooner but even bodyweight squats are currently a challenge.)
Just met Mini-goal 2 this morning!! I'm delighted. I really needed a boost after a really tough week.
Mini-goal 4: I have a fortnight until my friend's wedding and my new mini-goal for that day is to be able to zip up my pretty new dress without hurting my fingertips! (And then to find as many opportunities as I can to wear it before it gets too small!! )
Mini-goal 5: To be brave enough to try a new activity with a social dimension. More than anything else, this will push me out of my comfort zone.
Mini-goal 6: To reach a loss of 2 stone (28lbs/12.7kgs). This would bring me just over 33% to goal. Aiming for this by 15 September at the latest.
Mini-goals 4, 5 (SUP counts, right? Especially when everyone comes up to commiserate with you for falling in?!) and 6 all met as of this morning!
3. I'm still working on building enough strength to start a progressive lifting programme, so it will be a while before I get there.
7. In the meantime, my first new mini-goal is to stay on track - for a 7lb overall loss for September - when I am travelling for work for 2 weeks later this month. I have just started c25k, so hopefully I can use the hotel fitness centre to keep that going...and substitute for my usual daily 90 minutes of walking.
8. My somewhat ambitious 8th goal is to hit the midpoint of this journey by Hallowe'en! If I can maintain my current rate of loss, I will just manage it, but the upcoming fortnight out of my routine could throw a spanner in the works!1 -
Losing the first 25lbs. I am right there.10
-
woohoo I just hit major and minigoal. hit total 101.2 pounds since starting this weight loss journey 11 months ago and just got under 190 pounds now 188.8 pounds. Was trying to get there and continue losing slowly as much as i can before i go on river boat cruise in 2 weeks where goal will be to maintain while on trip then continue losing when get back. i know i’ll probably gain a little while away so wanted to lose as much as possible before i leave to do least damage.
and stay under 200. my goal weight is 150. i’m getting so much closer, I don’t want to endanger it. Just got first clothing alterations too. 😊😊9 -
Keep up with the slowest regulars in our running group.5
-
To cut 5 seconds off my 5k. I just did my personal best (yes, I just ran 5k 6 weeks after a tummy-tuck, doc says it's okay so long as there's no pain or soreness not related to the actual running if a 5k) at 36:04.
We'll see what October's time is.8 -
My food baby from a few hours ago, when i had waaaaaay too many nachos, is what's motivating me right now. I'm in pain. Still trying to learn how to know when to stop when it comes to foods that aren't well pre-portioned. D'oh.5

Just broke into Onederland. Next goal is 190 or size 32 jeans, whichever comes first.16
-
I'm only a couple of pounds away from losing my first 25lbs and I'm also only a few pounds away from losing 2 stone so that's my two immediate goals. I'm also aiming for at least 50lbs lost by December 1st.9

My mini-goal is to adapt to healthier eating. My sugar intake is way too high and my weight loss has stalled. I’m hoping to get back on track by focusing on less sugar and fewer total calories. That means more planning and prepping. I have to keep my eyes on the prize bc this is much harder than just “eating less.” I have to eat a lot less of some things I love—for my health.7

Go, @TheRedQueen1981 !
My next milestone will be 50 pounds lost. I am super close to that.
After that, I am super excited at closing in on having a BMI below 35, which means I will no longer be "Class II Severly Obese."6 -
Mini goal is to get back to exercising at least 4 times a week for at least 30min. I started off doing a lot at the beginning of the weight loss and it was great, mood boost, felt strong, slept better. I’ve really slacked the past two months and need to remember this isn’t all about the number loss, it’s about feeling better.6

I haven't binge eaten in 3 weeks!15

I know from personal experience how big of a deal this is! great job.3 -
Just accomplished my first mini goal of Finally breaking through 20 lbs lost. Now I want to be under 205 and then Onederland! 2 more pounds and only 7 lbs to go for ONEderland! Hopefully in 4 weeks!12

Well, a while back in this thread I said I wanted to get down into the 130’s-a place I hadn’t seen in decades. I’m at 133 now, so I’m going for maybe somewhere in the mid 120’s.
It’s not just a number, at that range I’ll be at a good weight for my height (5’2.5 and average build). Never thought I’d get anywhere close to an “ideal” weight, but here we are. lol.
It will prob take until the end of the year, but however long it takes is fine with me at this point.

Well done! That’s a great achievement! I look forward to reaching similar numbers.

I reached my last Mini Goal of getting to a Normal BMI.
My next Mini Goal is losing 4 more pounds which will make 100 pounds lost in total.19 -
Current mini goal: Running 5K for the first time ever. (I'm at week 6, day 2 of the C25K app...I'm excited that I might actually make it through the program!)7
