What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

Staying in the healthy range of pregnancy weight gain, and not gaining 60 lb like I extrapolated from the last few weeks7

My mini goal is to stay under 145 lb. My starting weight was 172 and my current weight is 144.2! And I just did a little math that might help others stay motivated. Here goes:
I took me a year and half to lose 28.2 lbs. That's about half a pound a week, with some weight gain here and there. Nutrition science says it takes a calorie deficit of 3,500 calories to lose 1 lb. So those 28.2 lbs represent a calorie deficit of 98,700 over the course of a year and half. Dividing it out, that's ONLY a calorie deficit of 180 calories per day. That's about one candy bar per day, or for me, one banana (~100 calories) and a homemade latte (~85 calories). While half a pound a week may seem like a slow rate of progress to some, I feel like it is a sustainable life style change for me rather than a "diet." To those just starting out, celebrate the small successes (ideally not with food!), because they will build upon each other until you find you have hit a big milestone.16 -
The fact that 2 weeks today I have to be in a swim suit in front of my ex husband and beautiful girlfriend12

My first mini-goal is actually to lose 25 lbs and get back into the lbs 100's where I was a couple of years ago.
mini-mini-goal on the way down is to lose 5 lbs (enough to get below 100 kgs).
So, - 5 lbs next two weeks
- 25 lbs next three months

Thanks for the reminder. On the way up it is usually just as slow and often times barely noticeable: a busy week here without daily exercise and the 200 extra calories it buys you; a more social week there and the restaurant food and wine, slightly larger portions, etc. In a year and a half seasons change, fashion change and you can gain 15 lbs before you even realize it when you are buying a larger size.5 -
I'm working on making it to Onederland. I have about 9 pounds to go but its TOM so my weight has not been going down this week but hoping once that passes to have a whoosh and get closer. We are starting fertility treatments this month so I am just working on losing as much as I can before getting pregnant to make pregnancy easier.
Finally broke my plateau that I've been on for a month. Just 6 pounds to go to Onderland!!!11 -
My mini goals are one-arm chin-up and one-arm pull-up9

Getting into my jeans, which means losing about 30 lbs of fat, but still gaining muscle.9

I have 5 pounds to lose to get to my personal goal. I have reached the goal for WW and have become a lifetime member.12

Thailand in a few weeks with my super sporty extended family, hoping to be about 20 pounds less and then edging toward onederland by end of February.6

UK Size 10 jeans...got the trousers down, but denim is always a couple of months behind!
I have NEVER been a size 10 on my bottom half before so I'm super excited!13 -
I do small 10-15lb goals to buy new workout clothes. Otherwise I'll just end up filing bankruptcy in a razorback with a witty saying. LOL I'm only 6.2lbs away from my next witty shirt purchase!10

I have 3:
1. Completing at least one habit consistently in my bullet journal habit tracker. Currently it's the exercise habit. When I work out I feel good and then I eat good. So that's like a daily thing.
2. When I lose 5kg (approx 10lbs) I get a gift. Also coloring in the Weight-loss tracker in my bullet journal is fun. Way more fun than a chart. I colored my second block this morning. 3 more than I get a prize. I can't remember what I decided on but it's going to be worth it.
3. Getting under 100kg (under 220lbs). Only 3.7 to go. 😊😀.

@Chelle8070 Workout clothes are so cool. There's a sports store in a nearby mall that I visit for extra motivation.6 -
Mini goal is to get to 80 lbs lost by Halloween and 90 lbs lost by New Year's. I'm on the edge of the first one, should hit it next week, which is motivating me to "behave."8

I would like to be as low as possible for a plane trip in Minneapolis next month! I also have a goal to walk at least 15 minutes 5 days a week to make sure I don't get too tired while walking around the Mall of America.8
-
My last mini-goal was to get under 300, and this morning I got there!
It's a little way away, but the next goal I've really thought about is to weigh less at the end of the holidays than at the beginning.24 -
To get back on track, Had to have shoulder surgery 8 weeks ago and just was given permission from MD to do recumbent bike or elliptical , I was doing cross fit 4 days a week before surgery . Also while recovering I gained back from inactivity and poor eating. My mini goal is to get to gym at least 4 days a week and first weight goal is to lose 5 of the 15 I have gained back.8

To fit into a pair of leggings I just bought. They're somehow much smaller than a pair of same-sized leggings I brought at the same store, and the store has no refunds9

Seeing my boyfriend in 3 months. Hoping to lose about 15lbs by then. Will be the smallest he’s ever seen me and I’ll only be 4lbs from my lowest weight and only have about 15/20lbs left until my goal.10

I have not lost (or gained 😀) any weight this month. It’s my own fault because I have gotten lazy about tracking and logging. My mini goal is to FINALLY get to One-derland. I have been so close I could taste it! Going on a small trip in 2.5 weeks. I have 3 lbs to go. I could make it!15
-
I have only 1kg before I hit the lowest I'd achieved before the health issues caused a regain. In 2kg, I'll be in new territory. In 3kg, I'll be in the next decade. Three mini goals driving me forward!13

Onederland!!9

Eight more pounds, and I'll have a BMI of exactly 42. I'm planning to geek out and treat myself to a new luxury towel.15
