Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.
Mini-goal 1 achieved this morning! 😀
(Existing) Mini-goal 2: Hit 25% of target. Aiming for this by mid-August, just ahead of my friend's wedding.
(New) Mini-goal 3: Build enough strength to start a progressive lifting programme like stronglifts. Aiming for early October. (Hopefully sooner but even bodyweight squats are currently a challenge.)
Just met Mini-goal 2 this morning!! I'm delighted. I really needed a boost after a really tough week.
Mini-goal 4: I have a fortnight until my friend's wedding and my new mini-goal for that day is to be able to zip up my pretty new dress without hurting my fingertips! (And then to find as many opportunities as I can to wear it before it gets too small!! )
Mini-goal 5: To be brave enough to try a new activity with a social dimension. More than anything else, this will push me out of my comfort zone.
Mini-goal 6: To reach a loss of 2 stone (28lbs/12.7kgs). This would bring me just over 33% to goal. Aiming for this by 15 September at the latest.
Mini-goals 4, 5 (SUP counts, right? Especially when everyone comes up to commiserate with you for falling in?!) and 6 all met as of this morning!
3. I'm still working on building enough strength to start a progressive lifting programme, so it will be a while before I get there.
7. In the meantime, my first new mini-goal is to stay on track - for a 7lb overall loss for September - when I am travelling for work for 2 weeks later this month. I have just started c25k, so hopefully I can use the hotel fitness centre to keep that going...and substitute for my usual daily 90 minutes of walking.
8. My somewhat ambitious 8th goal is to hit the midpoint of this journey by Hallowe'en! If I can maintain my current rate of loss, I will just manage it, but the upcoming fortnight out of my routine could throw a spanner in the works!
Ticking off Goals 7 and 8 as complete! I am now halfway to goal, and simultaneously 3 stone (42 lbs) down from my starting weight!
My new mini-goals are:
9. To finish c25k (distance version). I'm currently on week 7, so hopefully this day week I will complete it!
10. Onederland! Hoping to reach this by the time I start a new job in 3 weeks.
11. To have lost another stone (14 lbs) by New Year's Day. I gained 55lbs over a very stressful 2-year period that ended this summer. I want to start 2019 having lost every single one of those unhappy lbs!
Goal 9 completed! I finished c25k to schedule, and I'm now working on building up my running outside with Zombies, Run! since all my training was on a treadmill. It's so much more interesting when you have something to look at other than a tv screen looping songs you can't hear and ads for the gym! I've tried to 'get fit' before but this is the first time I really feel like I'm getting somewhere!
Goal 10 - achieved a little later than hoped, but only by 3 days (and following a week of holidays!)! And today I passed the -50lbs threshold!
Goal 11 - on track!
Goal 12 (new) - to run 50km between today and Christmas. I have a lot going on outside of work in the next month so this will be a challenge to fit in...Which should incentivise me to make my 5k runs a bit longer each time!7 -
Getting under 240 lbs for the first time in about 10 years! Just a few lbs away9

Lose the weight I gained over the holiday6
-
multi mini goals right now.
1. Lose the belly blob that is making my waistbands roll down again
2. Lose the inner thighs so they stop rubbing again
3. Weigh less than my husband again (right now about 8 lbs), but could be a moving target
4. below 200 (10 ish lbs
5. get below DL weight (about 15 lbs)6 -
Recently made it below 220. I also went shopping because I needed some essentials. I'm down 3-4 pants sizes (depends on beans/cut). I've also lost 9 inches around what I guess I should refer to as my chest. My band size went from about a 47 to 38. Needless to say, my bras was doing jack in the support arena.
My next not weight related goals are:
To be solidly in 16's or below.
To have the stamina to pass my Krav test (fingers crossed, December 8th is the test).
To be able to comfortably wear the pile of xl-xxl shirts I have (women's shirt sizing depresses me).
My next three weight related goals are:
Under 210 (9 pounds)
Under 200 (19 pounds)
Obese class 1 (22-23 pounds)6 -
My daughter's post wedding reception on Saturday (she got married in Jamaica). Very motivated right now!4

Traveling this year to have Christmas with the family.... my crazy family....
My goal is to get to (reset) goal weight, 5lbs loss by dec 21st ( when we fly in) not gain more than 5lbs while there for the week...
Caribbean trip end of January and my 10year anniversary with my husband, where we got married in the first place want to be at the new goal weight which is smaller (more importantly healthier) than when we first got married. I can’t wait to have our photos done!
I’ve lost 45lbs and plan to stay here, my mini goal for every month here on out.6 -
I'm only 2 pounds shy of being in the 180's! Something I haven't seen in over 5 years!11

To get into the 150's again10

This is so very mini to some, but huge for me! I want to lose 1 lb by Christmas.
Here's why. I always get to where I want to be by Thanksgiving and then I use the holiday excuse and put on 15-20 lbs by the next spring.
If I can lose 1 lb by Christmas (from where I was on Thanksgiving), I feel like I have broken a very bad habit and will be the first year in 3 years that I lost and didn't gain.32 -
I have 2 mini goals right now. Lose 7, then 10 pounds by the end of 2018
1) if I lose another 7 pounds I’ll have lost 60 pounds, which apparently, is what an elephants penis weighs
2) if I lose 3 pounds after that 7, I’ll officially be out of the obese BMI and into the overweight classification. Yay!12 -

End of the year is 4 weeks away. Looking to lose 10lb by that time.3

My boyfriend is coming to stay with me for 3 weeks in January (he lives in Italy), and I’m hoping to under 140lbs (5lbs to go!). It’ll be the smallest I’ve been since being with him.13

Yoga has been on my bucket list of exercises to take part in. Because studios around here are scarce (and REALLY expensive), I'm starting Yoga with Adrienne this month. I want to finish her 30 day course.9

I really want to shake off post cancer-treatment weight issues, and feel strong and fit again now that my health has recovered! I’m aiming for significant body fat % reduction but more of a focus on building up strength and resilience.17

The scale I had when I first started losing weigh only went to 300. I still have no idea what my starting weight was, but I think ~330. Ended up buying one with a 400 lb limit and weighed at 320.
Now I'm ~210
It can be done.19 -
Reaching a normal bmi! I am only 9 lbs away and hoping to get there by the end of January
So exciting!!13
