Thank you. I’m just worried about being below 1200 net.
-
I'm trying shakes in the morning at the moment and with protein powder they can be quite filling. I have water, frozen fruit, kale, spinach, flaxseed and whey protein

I haven't noticed weight gain with them, I think it's more about how you're feeling and eating. If I feel down I eat loads and I often get quite upset about how I look, but it's how you feel that may make you eat more, not how the tablet works in your system.

It's a shock how few calories you can actually have! Or rather, how little it translates into.
-
Thank you so much!
-
I just had the fright of my life when I weighed the milk I put into tea!
-
Thank you! I do measure as much as I can, but I tend to estimate the olive oil so will change that.
-
Thank you! I've opened up my diary :) I've changed the setting to 1340, rather than 1500 as the way MFP does it seems easier. And will ensure I log accurately

I didn't think I could stick to 1200 cals to lose 1kg a week
-
Yes 0.5kg
-
Is that whyMFP says1340? So I definitely have a defecit?
-
5"6, 79kg. Would like to be 66-69kg
-
Ah I think they may be doing TDEE... I've been trying for a few weeks at 1500. The only complication is ive been unwell so doing a bit less than normal.
-
I'm not sure...
-
I don't, no.

Thank you all! Your replies are so helpful. I didn't mean to start the soda debate. My main craving is sugar in sweets/chocolate. Will get a plan of action together!
-
Sadly yes!
-
I see. I'm 5"6 and 79.5kg. Want to lose 10kg ideally. I do exercise but tend to eat half back. In fairness lately I'm struggling to keep calories down (emotional eating).
-
Mfp says 1200 to lose a pound a week :(
-
I've just been to the doctor and they've prescribed some. Hope they work! I'm also hoping the weight loss will start again and I'll feel less sad about it all!
-
Thank you all for your help
-
Thank you. At the moment I keep losing and putting on the same pound!
-
Thank you guys - you're so great (and helpful). I'm going to try these! Honestly thank you for taking the time to reply.
-
I was told that as a general rule you should have between 1-1.5g protein per kg.
-
Thanks! Do you think they would need dressings?
-
It is probably fine but I notice a difference in taste if I do that.
-
Thank you guys; much appreciated. Love the whey and Greek yoghurt suggestion.
-
Having the same trouble. Just can't seem to break through 78.5kg. It's incredibly frustrating to watch your weight bounce around!
-
Eating out!

Thank you guys! I've been netting 1350 calories and been exercising so I'm hopefully building muscle. It's just quite disheartening when for whatever reason the scale doesn't seem to be going in the right direction. Hopefully it's just cycle related.
