If you dont already, start tracking your food. Can you increase your activity? Use this time while on the med to learn how to eat. You can set yourself up for success by changing habits now.

beta blockers are to basically make your heart beat more effectively. it wont interfere with weight loss. you should feel better and have more energy if your afib is controlled. just fyi. my heart rate runs in the 40's. still have lost 100lbs

I always tracked it from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep. I always tried to work my days in a row. So if I woke up at 7am and didnt go to bed until the next day at 9am I would track that all on one day.

i only do it for my work days. Im a nurse and work 3 12 hour shifts a week. I meal prep lunch and a dinner. I have a protein drink for breakfast. It depends on what you cook, and how it will last. I dont share everything. I keep my journey privet. All my friends and family know i love working out. I ver ask anyone to go with me. I meal prep so there isnt the temptation to go out and eat

I'm guessing you cut out a bunch of food to lose weight initially. You can really eat anything you want just within your calories. Weigh and track everything.

IN my weight loss journey, goodwill was my friend. I would buy just enough to get me through. store donate stuff so I could fine decent items. Old navy has a great clearence section. Jeans for under 5 bucks. I lost 100 pounds and didnt want to buy all the things I needed until i was at or very near goal.

My fitbit said i would burn 3500 calories at my heaviest. So I figured I would try 2400. I stuck to that and in 6 weeks lost 15 pounds. So I stayed at 2400. Lost 100 pounds. It may take some trial and error to figure out your calories and how accurate your calorie burn on your fitbit.
