I have run anywhere between 1-3 miles and biked 5-10 miles 2-3 times per week over the past 9 months. I was putting in over 50 miles per week in running and over 100 on the bike but I had a new work assignment over the winter that made me scale way back. I was able to keep swimming regularly though.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. He doesn't like to do much but over time I've gotten him to walk to restaurants instead of taking the subway and I can get him to play tennis with me occasionally but for the most part, he doesn't like to be all that active. It's disappointing to me because I see other…

I eat high, 3,000+. As a runner, I become very dizzy as I'm a salty sweater if I don't eat enough. After a workout I sometimes have to chug a 20oz Gatorade with 2 salt packets. Has me feeling great in 10 minutes.

My Fitbit said I burned 2699 calories for the day. I would usually eat about 100 less than what it said to maintain and I will eat 500 less than…

I have no races scheduled for 2016. I am very upset with myself, but what is done is done and I have to start today; I can't go back and eat less. I guess I was just hoping that I could be back to myself in 3 or 4 months, not 6. I'm looking to train, but not compete for 6 months at least. I wear a uniform to work and we…

I don't mean to sound like a party pooper, but at that rate, it'll take me 6 months to lose 20lbs.

Yes. When I was riding 30 miles a day or running close to 12, I couldn't even begin to fathom eating less than what I was eating. I have a FitBit and would basically try to eat close to what it was telling me I burned. My weight would fluctuate within 3-4lbs so I was very happy. Now I have to lose weight and eat at a…
