  • Thank you all for the response and suggestions! Many have recommended me to do exercise that I like, but as for the time being, I haven’t discovered a sport that I truly enjoy doing and have fun from it. My current plan would be trying to make myself to exercise everyday until it becomes a habit of mine while I will look…
  • For me, I let myself eat whatever I'm craving for but in a smaller amount. As long as it fits in my calories.
  • I personally prefer exercising at night because I get exhausted for the whole day if I exercise in the morning.
  • I let myself to have whatever I'm craving for as long as it fits in my calories. There are times I ate over my calories goal and I will make myself to head to the gym on that day.

  • I'm a little weird and I tend to have big breakfast. My daily calories intake ranges from 1250 to 1400. There are times when I will binge eating in the morning and consume more than 1000 calories before 10am and do not feel hungry for the rest of the day.
  • Took a week break due to stress and ended up gaining weight. Was eating out most of the time in that week and I couldn't really estimate the calories ate.
  • 5'6 SW - 140 CW - 130 GW - 115-120 1250 -1500 calories Going on a diet and exercising because I want to lose my stubborn thigh fat.
  • For me, average calories shown is around 600 cals/hr as well but my split time is 2:40/500m. I couldn't figure out if it is a moderate effort or light effort but I found out that the machine is from Concept2. So I'm just using the link provided above to estimate calories burnt.
  • Thanks for the info!
  • That's why I'm eating out less when I'm trying to lose weight. I only eat out during weekends and I try to exercise on the days when I'm eating out.
  • I totally understand how you feel. I'm from Asia and most Asian girls are so skinny and underweight. I'm in the normal BMI range but I always feel and told by others that I'm fat simply because I look larger in size in comparison with other Asian girls.
  • This sounds like a terrible diet. If you have any personal reasons for doing this diet (and not just for the purpose of losing weight), at least eat some nuts and seeds. Do some research on what you can eat in raw vegan diet to make sure that you have some protein and fat intake.
  • Thanks for all the suggestions! Good thing is that I don't drink because I love food way more than alcohol.

  • My friends and I tend to go to Asian restaurants, and it's hard to find salad or food with less calories. Most of the food are full of carbs.

  • I go to gym at night, usually I don't feel like eating after exercising so I won't really starve before going to bed.
  • When you are eating less, your body will slow down metabolism. You might still be able to lose weight, but it won't be as fast as compared to the time you just started dieting. It's just that your body kinda knows that you're not consuming as much food now so it will adapt to use less energy for daily maintenance.
