You're off to a good start! For weight loss though, eating on a caloric deficit is best and proven. I started early this year just like you, home exercises & jogging/cardio. I did that for 3 months (12wks) and lost 4 lbs. Then I found out about "caloric deficit". I have been eating only 80% of my TDEE and i lost 15 lbs in…

This ^ Plus unfortunately you cannot "spot reduce" fat. You cannot tell the body which area of fat it will use up on your next exercise session. Doing a caloric deficit diet and resistance training is the best way to reduce fat overall, and if you're lucky, on the areas you prefer

I un-synced my Fitbit from MFP on day 1.

Cobra Fit grips on Amazon As for your current blisters/callouses, dont pick on em and they'll go away (or stay).

I'd say wherever you can be Consistent! I started off with a lil bench and some weights in the home office. A gym opened up 1.5 miles away and sure enough i joined thinking Wow! It's so close! But with 2 toddlers and a 12-hr shift at work, guess what?!? I still found myself working out in the home gym.. 11pm or 12am when…

1. I stopped syncing my fitbit to MFP, its confusing & can be misleading. 2. Too much sodium & water retention, like everybody else said. 3. And you might wanna take a look at this... Each individual has a different reaction to a caloric deficit. Maybe your metabolism has slowed down with your deficit? Then its time for…

TDEE - 20% (25% at Most) will help you "safely" lose at least 1lb/wk. When you hit a plateau with weight loss, try adjusting your calorie intake to your "new" weight.

Working with the very limited info you gave us... if its been a month and you've already lost that much weight, it might be time to readjust your calorie intake to your new weight (if you haven't already). Otherwise, give us a few more info and we might be able to help more. ✌

2 words: Calorie Deficit Not sure if being a diabetic predisposes you to any complication, i would definitely ask a physician first. I've lost 15lbs in less than 9wks- If it's plain weight loss, a calorie is a calorie. Figure out your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) - that is the amount of calories your body burns…

Bigger, Leaner, Stronger by Mike Matthews You won't believe how a $14 book can change your life. I've lost 15lbs in 9wks, while maintaining & improving lean muscle. Lost 3 pant sizes and now at 15% body fat, from 21%. I started with a mini home gym in the office upstairs. I just recently got a power cage, another bar and a…
