Thank you!!! Does 400 degrees sound good? I've heard you can easily dry out duck.

I have to say I have never made it before. I just bought some this weekend and so I will do some research and start experimenting. It is precooked, nonetheless, I will experiment then move onto a fresh one. I'm looking to make a duck with crispy skin. I'll keep you updated.

This is great info. Thanks all.

Oh WOW. Thanks so much. KnitOrMiss, I think I will be having duck this year. Possibly fish too. I am turkey'ed out and desperately want a change. I know my mother will welcome the change. I'm thinking a large wild caught salmon as the centerpiece with duck on either sides :) RowdysLady, Way to go on the gravy. I'm pretty…

I work at a physical therapy clinic and do quite alot including helping to treat patients and billing. First, it is suggested that you put ice on your back for the first three days. After, heat. I've found the heat VERY therapeutic. I threw my back out lifting heavy things and a hot shower loosened up the muscle. A hot…

@suzqtme I've recently read that book. I find out of all the things I've read about regarding Ketogenics, that one spoke to me more. Exposing the ignorance and plain egregious corporate greed when it comes to peoples' health, and speaking about not only the short term, but long term nutritional ketogenics.

Very nice to know. I look forward to it.

I also don't like the taste of stevia, but I combine a small amount with coconut sugar. I also on occasion add 1 date to whatever smoothie I'm going to make. If I'm putting berries in my recipes, I don't use sugar at all. I've been lucky to find sweet raspberries and black berries. I also found a site that has a table of…

I was having a bit of an issue with losing pounds too. I found a site that gave me a bit more insight into what was going on. I was eating too much protein and too much can be turned into glucose. I use the calculator on the site to let me know when I'm above the minimum Anti ketogenic level (you can read about AK's on the…

I would love to know too.

I agree with them both. I've been swimming for about two months now. Not only do you get resistance (obviously, since your moving against the force of a large body of water), but you burn ALOT more calories than you would running. I've burned well over 1,000 kcal in 60 mins of swimming. And that is at a moderate pace.…

I like almost love bread and fortunately I came across this site of low carb breads, for those who don't/can't make their own bread. 10 Great Low-Carb Breads (and 1 to avoid!)

Anyone here with a Keto diet diary on public display?

I would love any proven recommendations for this. I had a belly prior to cesarean, but never had a hanging pooch like the one I have now post-cesarean.
