OMG!!! Thank you so much for this discovery. I'm trying keto diet and it's great to know I can squeeze this in there.

I looooove ice cream. If you asked me what the last thing I would want to eat before I die, I'd say ice cream.

But NOT Halo Top. Tried it and was not impressed. Too sweet and crappy texture.

Life is short and must be lived well. To that end, I'll treat myself now and then to real, delicious, creamy ice cream from my favorite local ice cream stand: Three Twins (Napa, CA)

This is very exciting. I am going out to buy some today. I really didn't like arctic zero, but I'm curious to know what zero calorie marshmallow and caramel dip you used @JinjoJoey

They have a whole line. Some of their stuff is awful, mind you. Some of their stuff, namely, the caramel, marshmallow and chocolate dip is incredible, considering, it's 0 calories. A couple of small spoons of this, mixed with the article zero, makes it pretty incredible, and the caramel, even more so! And the caramel dip with apples is pretty unbelievable for 0 calories. It's not perfect, but nothing will be for 0 cal. The only place I've seemed to find the brand is Cub Foods, but I haven't searched too much since there's Cubs all over my state.

Walden farms is amazing. I think their best product is the calorie free pancake syrup!!! I love Walden Farms!

What's the pricing look like on this? I can get a gallon tub of regular ice cream for $5 or less. It's not stellar tasting, of course, but that's 200-300 kcal/cup vs 120 kcal for this stuff.

Wegmans and Shop Rite carry it too here (well, Shop Rite only carries 4 flavors).

Too much... $5.50 to $6 a pint here.

Yowza again! I suppose for someone who is on a very calorie restricted diet this may be a way they could get some occasional ice cream. The prohibitive price would also discourage overconsumption, I suppose.

Given market forces the price may well come down if this is successful and competitors enter the market, more or less like what has happened with Greek yogurt.

I surprisingly like the vanilla better than chocolate, even though I would never typically choose vanilla over chocolate. I think the cocoa is just not sweet enough without real sugar or something. Anyway I had a pint for lunch two days in a row because I'm lazy and hot.

Halo Top is great when put in the microwave for 20 seconds. It definitely needs to be softened. It tastes like real ice cream though, which is amazing. Fits right into my macros.

I love Halo Top ice cream! The lemon cake and vanilla bean flavors are fantastic. Sadly, I did not care for the chocolate one, and I'm allergic to strawberries. Where I'm from, this delicious treat is sold at Whole Foods and Dierberg's. I pass by 3 stores on my way home from work, so I pick one up on Fridays to enjoy during the weekend or just because.

We just bought some expecting it to taste bad, but it's great! Thanks for the tip! $5.99 is a bit pricey, but it's not an every-day item. Still a great treat.

I've heard and tried this, but if you let it sit out for about 15 minutes before eating it it's even better

I've gotten Halo Top for as low as $3 a pint and as high as $5.99 per pint. I like all of the flavors, but I think my two favorites are Vanilla and Chocolate Mocha Chip. The straight Chocolate flavor is better with some powdered peanut butter mixed in. As far as Arctic Zero is concerned, if you're a chocolate person, get their 300 calorie Brownie Blast pint. That one is above and beyond all other flavors of Arctic Zero in both taste and texture. Don't even bother with Wink Frozen Desserts.

If it weren't so expensive I would buy the Birthday Cake flavor more often.
