I started it about a year ago, but family issues got me off-track.

Liver! I promised myself as a child I would never have liver in my house... blech! On the serious side, I'm diabetic, so there are a lot of things others like to eat that are off my list. I've taught myself to like other things. Not fair to insist others not have their treats....

Strongly brewed Tea should have enough Caffeine to take care of the headaches. I would suggest Earl Grey, or Chai, with a little honey for sweetness, if you like They both have good flavor. You will need access to a microwave to heat the water, though. P.S. Always be careful of people who quote movie muppets..

The discussion was about running in public, not being in a place where shirtless is the norm. I agree about the maturity. Certainly, you can say "I don't care what anybody thinks" and do what you want. The problem is that an attitude like that carries over into other aspects of your life. Always better to choose…

Get "Starting Strength" by Mark Rippetoe. This is one of the best programs out there. It's based on compound lifts like Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Presses, etc. Many, many people have used this program and have gotten great results. Free weights are far superior to weight machines. If it's just a matter of a small amount of food like a nutrigrain bar, why worry at all about it? Maybe try an apple or a few strawberries or some fresh pineapple?

I've learned that portion control is most important. Most people, at least in the U.S., just eat too damn much... I've also learned that organic food isn't worth the premium prices. https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2012/09/little-evidence-of-health-benefits-from-organic-foods-study-finds.html

Hi Tonio! I'm new also. What kind of workouts do you do?

Hi! I would like to add you, as I need help with motivation myself, but I don't know how. I don't see any "add" button, am I missing something? OK, I found out how to do it... but an "Add" button would sure be nice... :)
