5'0 and it seems like my maintenance caloric intake is around 1500. But to lose weight it is about 1200. Makes sense because you need to have at least a deficit of 500 each week to lose a considerable amount of weight. If I ate 1500 I would not have a deficit even if I worked out. At 1200 I would be eating what my body…

I'm also 5'0 and honestly right now I am 117 lbs and could lose more to feel better. Really, I think weight is a good indicator of whether your healthy or not. 150 lbs IS a lot for someone who is only 5'0. But really, were not experts. If you're really unsure, check with your doctor as they are the best at determining…

I had an allergy to milk when I was a baby and as an alternate my mom gave me Rice Milk. Be warned, all my teeth fell out by age 4 from the sugar. This was also before all the alternates now like soy, almond, etc. milks. You have plenty of options, you just have to look in the milk aisle. But other than my top 4 baby teeth…

1. I started working in retail part time. Lost about 5 lbs in the matter of a few weeks. Once that came off I was hooked to try and eat healthier and lose more weight. 2. Drinking water. I like soda and still drink it but don't over do it. Get a bottle and instead of drinking all of it, drink half of it. Save the rest for…

Ah so happy for you! Good job! It comes off right when you think it never will.

I'm also 18 (about to be 19 in a few days). I am only 5'0 and a half and weigh 116 lbs right now. My goal is to be 110. But if you want to add me you can. I've made my food diary open to only friends. :)

Yeah we need more info. There has to be a reason your family is worried and wants you treated for an eating disorder, no one just pins a serious medical diagnosis on someone without a reason.

Hi northernbites! I am glad you are here <3

First off: I don't think you are a size 1/2 at 124 lbs. You are more likely a 5/6. When I was 124 lbs I was about a size 6/7. But jeans are jeans and everything is up for grabs depending on your structure. I would go more for a size small in tops. It will be fitted but not snug. I usually just shop at thrift or discount…

Yeah, I would go get it checked out. It definitely isn't common if your periods have been regular. And many girls I know that do have irregular periods (2 or more months apart), are usually infertile and need to take birth control to level out their periods. It is better to see a doctor now than to wait and regret it…
-
Thank you all! Definitely glad I am not the only one that feels this way :)

You definitely didn't lose weight fast so it is kind of odd your period hasn't happened in a few months. Do you usually only get your period every few months? If you do, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. But since you haven't had it in a while, I would go see a doctor just to make sure. I've heard women who lose…
