I am using MFP to see how many carbs/fats are in my meals, but I am amazed at how low calorie many things are.

No, what I'm saying is it is not a lifestyle for me, as it is for many people. When people say they run or cycle, they do it several times a week and are very into it. I do it occasionally. I do not run or cycle, although sometimes I jog or ride my bike. I also go roller skating and take dance class and workout with a kettlebell or do cardio workout videos. So I don't do "the norm" I supoose, but I want to be able to get a good idea on what I'm burning everyday.

I just try to get out and get moving in a fun way instead of calling it exercise. It makes it less a chore. For instance, I take my kids skating once a week, I try to take walks (walking dog) someplace scenic or while my kids are at the park a couple of times a week. Thank you very much :) I was doing Trim Healthy Mama for awhile, but being super restrictive on what I could eat caused me to want to over indulge and beat myself up.
