Just purged a lot of inactive profiles from my list. Calling all lifters (female/male) feel free to add Open diary (food & strength training routine) Strength train x 4 a week Cardio on off days Carb cycling Fitbit charge 2

Like others have posted, don't sweat the daily count too much if you happen to go over the numbers. Consider looking at the overall weekly average. We mere mortals will have that day where we go over or under.

No worries. Feel free to add

No percentages but macros set at: Protein: 250 Carbs: 180 Fats: 70 Strength train 4 days a week. 17k daily step count. Cardio on off days and carb cycle bringing it down to 140 for 2 off days. Then down to 100 for 1 day (only for 4wks then back to 140). Cheat days sometimes but within reason... Sometimes

I tried: - to log my steps through progress from menu under fitbit steps hoping it would transfer it across to my diary but it didn't work. - I uninstalled & reinstalled the MFP app and no change. - checked for any software updates - none Something wrong with MFP me…

I'm on premium. The major difference on premium is it provides a breakdown of which foods you have logged and will show you which of the foods had the greatest impact under carbs, fat, protein. Good if you want that level of detail like myself who is tracking macros, otherwise everything else is like free version.

How long have you been at this? If it's been long enough to use your weight loss as a guide, do that. In other words, if you "should" have lost 4 pounds in a month and have actually lost 8 pounds, you know that you're burning 500 calories/day more than expected and need to increase your activity level by about two "steps"…

I work a desk job too however, strength train x4 a week (average workout is about 1.5hrs) and daily step count of 15k and on days i work out step count is normally around 20k mark or more. During work i walk down 7 flights of stairs and around…

Injuries are the worst! I've had left elbow inflammation issues so had to rest that for a week or two - no strength training allowed, so I did cardio in its place. Recently had right Achilles tendon injury, couldn't weight bear so focused on upper body workouts. Guess there is always an opposite you can train until your…

I should mention I've never logged exercise into fitbit.

No issues with my fitbit charge 2 with syncing with MFP. I use fitbit to track my steps mainly. Any strength training or specific exercises I log onto MFP which syncs it back to fitbit and vice versa.

Thanks for this post! Very insightful for a novice like me.

Medication called champix worked for me. The drug literally stops the cravings. Of course it's suggested that you break away from old triggers or habits. You're allowed to smoke when first taking the drug & are expected to set yourself a quit date ( 1 wk or 2 away ). Leading up to that date & as the drug is in your system,…
