@Laurend224 I just think of the additional flapping as applause. I'm with you. I do jumping jacks and there's all kinds of enthusiastic clapping! My boobs clap, but only after my abdomen flap claps... It's like a jolly tap dance show! FABULOUS!!!

Hello!!!! I've been with WW a few times, but I didn't have much success when it switched to SmartPoints. I'm doing good with MFP and this community!!! On prior the PointsPlus program I lost about 50lbs which was fabulous and I'm grateful for it, but time and money have made this approach my new "method." And it's good. ALL…

Oh Yeah ONE Protein bars are fabulous and come in around 210-220cal, 21-22g protein and only 1g Sugar per. I keep a box in my car and in the office. I also keep 100cal popcorn in the office as well. I can have my bar AND popcorn if I'm feeling particularity peckish....

Welcome! Well done for deciding to change your lifestyle for the better! Just remember, it's one day at a time. Maintain your water intake. Try to get away from juice or flavored beverages if that's a thing for you... log everything!!!! But most importantly, be kind to yourself!

It will absolutely happen! Remember you are human. And this is a long term we're all shooting for, so be nice to yourself. Like you said, one day at a time! You got this!

And 2 weeks is a REALLY short time to see progress. I'd check in after 4-6 weeks.

Scales are deceiving. Are you tracking your measurements?
-
Look at how LESS of you there is! You're killing it.

Rapid weight loss will inevitably equal rapid weight gain. You can do unhealthy, drastic things and drop a bunch of weight, but it will come back quick. And it usually brings friends. If this process was a quick one, MFP wouldn't exist and we'd all be lean mean machines. It takes real work and a real change of heart and…

You ladies are amazing Amazon warriors!!!! Well done!

My Doctor and I have a solid understanding. I will turn my back to the numbers, and he/she will remain silent. I swear the scales are rigged. I went in one day and on the end-of-visit print out, there was my "weight." In bold letters. A number truly harrowing to behold. And WAAAAYYY off what I weighed at home before going.…

Heck ya it's possible. Generally delicious... later regretful... good times. ;)

You are all so fabulous! I can't wait to be part of the picture party!!! I started out at my heaviest 256 wearing size 22/24's. A couple years later and I'm in 14's. Still dreaming of onederland, still stumble and have naughty PopTart after hours parties in my closet, but no where near as many. This is a strong community.

Sometimes the best kind of exercising is the kind that you don't, "have to do." Example: Gym membership versus walking to work. Taking stairs instead of elevator. Yardening, etc.

1-1.5 pounds per week is a realistic start.

Sometimes the Sugar Demon is on fire! It can be hard to battle. For me I had to do some substitutes until I got it under control. And you CAN get it under control. Gum was helpful to me in the beginning. Something sweet... mouth is busy... can be a good tool to use. I also got a few of those Sparkling Ice beverages.…

My goal is to bust a melon with my thighs. I know. Hilarious... but it WILL HAPPEN! And it will be glorious!!!!

I lost over 50lbs with Weight Watchers and I'll be forever grateful for that. But their system, especially this new SmartPoint madness, was not sustainable with my life longterm. This is much better and MUCH more economical.

As you change those closest to you, especially those who don't have the willpower to make the lifestyle changes you are, tend to come out of the woodwork. The best you can do, is truly decide that this is what you are doing for you. You don't need to run anything by them. They don't need to validate your choices. This is…
