  • I totally agree with @SafariGalNYC ! Sometimes you just need space for yourself and to be away from others and the expectations that are put upon you by them. In my experience, it's better to start slowly taking tasks / responsibilities OFF your list vs. getting completely overwhelmed. When I get overwhelmed, I stopped…
  • I don't have an answer but I'd also like to know so I'm commenting to follow. I use a food scale that is 0.3g and if I add something slow enough, it doesn't move. Also, I meal prep for my dog so 0.1g is important for supplements that need to be measured. Hope someone will come with a good suggestion!
  • I have a Luxe and I love it. It's slim enough to be semi-fashionable and what's nice about FitBit is that you can buy cheap bands on Amazon and change em out. So far I've done 2 mud runs with it and it's held up. Just have a tiny scratch on the screen but it's barely noticeable. Hope you find what works for you!

  • I used to wear the same shoes! Loooved Skechers with memory foam but they also got less foamy over time. I ended up switching to Brooks and I love them. To me, they were absolutely worth the price. I think it was the Adrenaline GTS, which are made for running.
  • I am totally with you! I've done 2 photos at work this year (one for my promotion and one as a 'I like working here because...' photo for the website) and I hate themmm :# . Great work on turning it into motivation and keep working towards your goals. Love the 5 self love promises! You got this!
  • Hope you don't mind me adding you! I'm trying real hard to stay active and eat better. It's been tough since I work so much but would love to try to provide some support!
  • That's so awesome! Congrats! Do you find yourself lacking energy when working out + fasting? I have done fasting a few times but have absolutely no energy to exercise.
  • Best of luck on your weight loss journey! I'm trying to get some good habits going in hopes of doing a physical fitness one day (and actually passing). I try to stay consistent with logging but it is difficult! You got this!
  • Mine is open to friends as well if you'd like to view. I fell off for a loong time but I'm really trying to be more accountable to myself and get back to tracking. I have so much personal stuff going on that I've been neglecting my health (and weight goals). I personally have issues with dieting and aim to make healthier…
  • I know this is 5 months later but would love an update on how your training is going. From the research I've done, everyone just says to keep doing the PFT test at home like you would do on the actual test. FBI recommends you subtract 4 points for a self-administered PFT due to some items potentially not counting on the…
  • Same here! I've actually been really active but it doesn't show :(
  • I'm in! My dog and I have a canine biathlon in Alabama in May and I have the Chase Corporate Challenge in May as well. Both 5Ks, but the canine one is a mud run as well. I've been ill with an infected ankle so I haven't been able to run as much but I want to get back on it. Does anyone have a specific workout…
  • I hope this doesn't sound weird but I often run with my dog in the winter, mostly I just want to get him out and go home. It's not officially "running" but we are jogging. I make sure to pay attention to the sidewalk. Look for clear areas (ice) and avoid those and try to step IN the snow. I've found that it gives me decent…
  • Great great work!!! Thank you for sharing!!
  • I'm trying my best to keep a keto diet while also pushing myself to be vegetarian and vegan and honestly, it's been hard. Can I add you both?
  • My FitBit has the heart rate calc too, but I think mine syncs automatically to MFP. I never heard of ShapeSense, but I will have to check it out now. I personally feel that FitBit may be inaccurate in terms of calculating calories burned mainly because of differences between certain activities. (ie: walking the dog is…
