Fabulous result, Alex! And I second the enchantment factor of hot cross buns; I have to avoid them altogether... :s

Well done, @bandwidthbandit - you continue to be an inspiration!
-
Well done on your losses to date, Alex! If you aggregate it, you're down more than 5lb in ten days. Extraordinary progress.
-
Thanks @brittdee88 , I can't believe how much OMAD has helped.
-
Glad you're on the mend Alex! Best of luck with tomorrow's weigh-in
-
'Food group', lol! Enjoy - you've earned it Sammy.
-
You're doing fabulously, Tracey!
-
@dkayingram - I've also noticed better sleep, so fully concur with you on that one. In fact, one of my motivations for this WOE was to put a stop to night eating, and the subsequent insomnia/gastric reflux. And it's working.

Thank you so much for this link, @sammygold2015 !

Wonderful news!

I love falafel! Those look so appetising rn!
-
I've just read up on the 'whoosh' phenomenon - didn't know such a thing existed! Well done, Tracey!
-
Thank you so much @bandwidthbandit ! Love your username BTW!
-
Those look amazing!

Hi Michael I started last month; I was very hesitant, having quit OMAD before. Like you, I considered it too radical for me, but I was simultaneously drawn to this WOE. Five weeks in, there's no going back. As Joseph Campbell said, "the cave you fear to enter holds the treasure that you seek". Best of luck in your efforts!
-
Thanks Jim Wishing the best of luck to Michael and Alex!
-
Have just seen this - shocking news; really hope you're OK Steph! Sending you big hugs and a speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone for being so welcoming!

Hello everyone, I'm Fiona. Today marks a month on OMAD for me. I'm rather worried as the last time I tried OMAD, I quit four weeks in. So I'm looking to get past this, and feel that having public accountability is the key. To this end, I will begin a progress thread. I wish to thank everyone whose progress I've been…

Love this sort of stuff - thanks OMADing!

Waiting for snow here!

Increments are the way to go Deb. Great to have you with us on this journey!
-
Well done Linda!

Just to say i fully endorse Linda's idea. That was how I started out when I first did 16:8 - it instills a discipline, which OMAD than ratchets up to the nth degree! The homeostasis you describe Deb is real; Joe references 'set points' in his videos. However, after having stalled when I was on 16:8, I have discovered OMAD…

Thanks Linda!

Don't know if I'm fully entitled to join - I've got down to sub-200lb with IF (16:8) but have just discovered OMAD. However having been well in excess of 200 when I began my weight loss journey, I'm hoping I qualify.... Anyway, just to reiterate thanks expressed above by OMADing1 to Linda for starting this thread, and…

Linda, that's fantastic progress. I also like the idea of an "Under.." thread. I know that, for me, getting below 200lb (I had lost 30lb before OMAD) was a big psychological milestone, and I agree it would be similarly motivating to others.
-
Thanks again everyone! This forum is so supportive; onwards and upwards for the next 50lb....
-
Thank you so much!

Five days in, this feels like a huge hack! But now, when faced with a craving, I just need to tell myself "What would General Stanley do?"!!! Four-star generals aside, there is a lot to be said for role models in eating patterns; we adopt the habits of those around us.
