I find I get a much more accurate idea of where I am and where I'm trending with daily weigh ins at the same time (morning pre-food or drink, post-potty). I expect fluctuations within a small range, so they don't bother me, and it keeps me on track a lot better when I'm conscious of it every day.

I'm Home Chef for me and daughter. We use it for two meals a week (although I also get a lunch out of each, too) and we absolutely love it! There are plenty of options, including low cal. And it's definitely better than me succumbing to the temptation to just grab takeout in my way home from work or popping in something…

Welcome! We've got some great support in the community here!

I've never believed in eliminating something you love ENTIRELY from your diet. It just makes you crave it and feel constantly dissatisfied. Eat a healthy meal, then savor a SMALL amount of the thing you really love, and - very important! - log your food! You really don't have any concept of what you're eating until you…

My favorite thing about MFP is the support and motivation from the community! I need it too! Btw, it sounds like you're doing great! Congrats!

I love the additional motivation. I'm such a useless lump sometimes. ;)

When people ask my favorite drink, I always ask if it makes me boring that it's water. Nothing beats an ice cold Dasani (or good filtered water) to me! That said, I MUST start the day with a coffee; there's often an espresso somewhere in the day; I love a good tea, and I'm getting more matcha into my day; and yes, I'll…

I'm a big believer in not eliminating anything you love from your life. That just makes you miserable. Just have less of it, if it's a real "baddie." Fortunately, I'm generally happy with a tiny bite of a sweet.

I have the arm strength of an earthworm. I'm so pathetic. :( (Not stopping, btw. Just know my arms are a sad case.)

Day 1 done!

I desperately need arm work, so why not? :)
