Joined my first DietBet. Trying to make sure I win it!

I find it odd that you say you prefer healthy foods, and prefer to not eat sugar and dairy because it tastes bad to you, and yet you were considering quitting this change due to an article you read?

Chick fil a. I would ask my mom to cook the highlights of her usual dishes, which I avoid because they're calorie bombs (lasagna and stroganoff)

I love hard boiled eggs as a snack. Keeps me full for a long time.

A while back I put two giant boxes of clothes that didn't fit in the attic. One was "soon" and one was "later" (depending on how much weight I'd need to lose before I could fit the clothes). I cracked open the "soon", and am wearing jeans from it! They're even a little loose.

You need to read up on paleo if you think you can eat bread on paleo.

1. Dr suggested weight loss surgery. I was shocked and appalled that I was "that big", but he was right in suggesting it. I don't want surgery. 2. I took an amazing trip but felt like I couldn't enjoy everything because I was so out of shape and my feet hurt. 3. Didn't have enough energy to play with niece. I was also too…

I finally dislike looking fat enough to do something about it. Tired of dreading lectures at the doctor's office. My weight was starting to limit what I could and couldn't do (no longer felt comfortable in a plane seat, for example), and I can't have that.

Siggi's yogurt (no fat and lots of protein makes my macros happy).

I eat the same breakfast everyday: English muffin with Brie, earl grey tea with skim milk.

I was probably a 22 at 272, 5'6". I wore 20s that were really stretchy and vanity. I'm 240 now and 20s are too loose but 18s are too tight to last the whole day. US sizes.

I eat pizza every week. My husband and I split an Amy's frozen pizza, and it's 390 calories for half of it. We also make a home made pizza that's pretty good and filling (since I add greens to the top)

Not sure if this is too close to a scale victory to be an NSV, but I'm no longer "morbidly obese" per my BMI.

Heavy cream. Obviously I knew it was calorie dense, but I intentionally never thought about how many servings were in the pasta sauces I'd make. I have one recipe where I was probably consuming 3/4-1 cup (with pasta!!!!)

Wow that's awesome! We're going through weight loss for my dog too. We got him from the shelter as an underweight adult, but ended up going too far. He has 7-8 lbs to lose total (he's lost 1 already!)

2.5 lbs until -30 total.

I weigh every morning, except sometimes Saturday or Sunday (I budget for extra calories some weekends, and I know the number on the scale wouldn't be representative since I'm just bloated.)

People might tell themselves that they're wearing baggy clothing and it doesn't look bad, but truth is, it never does. Ill fitting clothing always looks ill fitting, whether it's too big or too small. If you can afford it (new, sale, or thrifted), I'd say get a few items that fit for every size.

So that I'm no longer afraid of taking flights (and not fitting in the seat).

I have fun goals every 10 lbs (this is some of the list, not necessarily in order) -Manicure/pedicure -Day off work -Hiking somewhere nice -1 night stay at a fancy hotel nearby -Start a new fitness class that I didn't feel I could do before -Dying my hair a fun color Then every 5 lbs I assess a type of item of clothing to…

I've lost a small percentage (15-16%) of the total I want/have to lose, and I have a long journey ahead of me (100+). Which is why it's unexpected to me that I would feel "results" so soon. I never expected to feel this much more energy so early on. Feel so happy with my scale goals when I have so many milestones to go.…

I was pleasantly surprised when I measured champagne. I was disappointed weighing cheese.

Interested.
