This is day 6 of a 30 day Challenge I started where every day I complete a minimum of 10K steps, 10 "floors climbed", 30 min. of continuous excercise, and 5 miles throughout the day. Finishing this is my motovation for now. That, and I lI've on the lake, & I'd like to at least wear shorts out on a boat a couple times this summer.6

To get down to 140 lb or 63.5kg
Dead lift 100kg, current 1 rep max is 90, but getting a lot stronger this strength cycle, so think I'll hit by end of summer, or sooner.
Squat 90kg. Similarly, previous 1rep Max was 86.5kg
Sore shoulder at the moment so lots of time to deadlift and squat4 -

You know that thing when you get on the scales in the morning and they show a small loss? And you get on and off the scales a few times, different result each time? Yeah, that thing. 2 out of 6 times, I actually saw 298lbs, also a few 300.25lbs. So I'm taking 300lbs, and "kitten" to it. Been waiting so long to get that far (would prefer a 200 number actually) but that will do.
Feeling a lot better since GP took me off the BP pills that were making me feel so grotty, my BP didn't change a jot, so 3+ weeks of feeling like an ill zombie were for nothing!
So a diuretic prescribed, and so far, despite battling increased hunger, my weight dropped and I feel part of the world again.
Good luck to the team - we've lost more than a whole "person" already between us.

One day early for success on my mini goal. I now weigh 1.8 pounds less than the weight I lied about on my drivers license a couple of years ago. I'm not sure how many pounds I've lost in total since I only started weighing myself recently, but I'm guessing around 70 pounds from my all time high and 19 less than the last time I was officially weighed during my flight physical.
My next mini goal will be a bit more nebulous about declaring victory. I plan on hitting up a few wineries in Wisconsin during my vacation early next month. My company owns a couple of very famous wineries in California and I have a jacket from one that is a tad bit too tight. I'm hoping that it fits a little better by my vacation. It will be fun to wear because people from different wine producing regions love to discuss their regions with people from others.

6/10/17 Bellin Run 10K (walking division) update:
Almost faster...it was hot (upper 70s F) by mid-race, that always slows me down, especially since my second 5K is normally faster than the first half. Thank goodness for sprinklers on the course! Chip time 1:38:01 and average pace 15:47 / mile. That's 2 minutes 19 seconds slower than my 4/1/17 10K, but 6:40 faster than last year's Bellin, when the heat & humidity were horrendous.
Not sure about weight in race last year, but know I'm at least 10# lighter. Race photos not available yet, s/b later this week. Here's hoping.4 -
I have 2 mini goals:
1) Lose 20 lbs (18.8 as of this morning)
2) Get under 200lbs (again)7 -
I met last week's goals of working out 6 days and also completing week 1 of C25K. However, my eating was not on point and I'm still bouncing around between 201-204 lbs.
Therefore, this week's goals:
1. Complete C25K week 2.
2. Do strength training on my off days.
3. Do whatever it takes to be within 250 calories of my daily goal this week including tightening up logging as much as possible.
I think #3 means taking over cooking from my husband this week. I made supper on Saturday and lunches last night and I'm planning to make dinner tonight as well.6 -
As of this morning, I am now down a total of 150 pounds. I have now reached a point where my goals are entirely about fitness and body composition. It feels great but very strange at the same time.31
