I am at 1200 calories a day as well. I eat a lot of vegetables ( I mean a lot). I have learned to use my calories wisely by not taking things like creamed coffee, soft drinks, candy etc. I am still new around here my self, but I have lot about 3 kg in 6 weeks roughly.

Any type of nuts, cashews, peanuts, walnuts, almonds. Pre portioning doesn't work for me, if I know I have them I will eat them. Have been off them for a while, just until a find a place where they sell them in small quantities.

I was really in panic mode yesterday for my exam and my natural response is eating enough chocolate to feed an army. I didn't buy the chocolate because it was going to start a bingeing cycle, I just knew it. I will buy my chocolate and eat it today though, but that's because in this state of mind I can buy a small bar…

I hate the taste of green tea, but had been drinking it cause I heard that it aids in weightloss. I haven't seen any difference at all. This thread has just confirmed my suspicions. No more forced sips of awefulness for me, thanks. Going back to herbal tea which drink for enjoyment. Thanks OP for starting this thread.

I also hate those red numbers, when I go over my calories, I "complete my day" just before I sleep cause I hate seeing all that red.

For me it was moving back home after a year (I gained all my excess weight in a span of a year) and having to explain to everyone that no I was not pregnant, I was not sick. I just felt horrible having to laugh at the "you're really fat" jokes everyday from different people. I have since moved away again, will be going…

I have vegetables (carrots and cucumber) with my cereal now, the 30 gram serving is too little and the calorie count is too high.

How soon after being serious about losing weight did you ladies see the changes? I lost my first 2 KGs in 2 weeks and now (on week 3) it seems as if nothing is happening. I am just worried.

I am worried that I could be reading incorrectly since I am able to eat a lot of food at 1200 calories while people are saying 1200 is too little. I do use a kitchen scale and weigh out to the tee.

Hi there. I also came in here for support. I want to lose 30 pounds, which I have gained in 14 months (I know). My main problem is overeating. I don't mind exercising, its just that I Keep gaining because I eat so much. Keep me accountable and I will do the same for you. Any takers?
