Mmm, multiple animals meat. Slurp. 😁

In a 2014 Which? investigation roughly half the “lamb” doners sampled contained other types of meat. An "average" kebab contains around 2,000 caloriesThe nutrition stats are shocking too. An average kebab contains around 2,000 calories – 80% of your GDA – and almost double your salt requirement. Thats for an "average"…

When I go axe throwing, I burn off also a greasy doner kebab. Add a bit of resistance band training in the morning and I may get that heart stopper yet.
-
You're right, but even though MyFitness app gives me a whopping great 2660 calories per day to work with, a greasy doner kebab is more than that in one go.
-
Some inspirational ideas. I don't mind losing the pitta bread. In fact I'd wrap it in lots of lettuce leaves.
-
THIS IS PERFECT. ABSOLUTELY WHAT I NEEDED
-
Used capitals to try to, (hold your ears), EMPHASISE something I had said about 10 times. It's not a difficult concept. Those that ignore it, may mean well, but it NOT what I asked for. If you asked for a skinny latte, and the barrista gave you a teaspoon of lard, it would NOT be what you asked for. They may mean well, but…

CALORIES PER 100 GRAMS ONLY PLEASE. A 25g bag of crisps are not very filling as a snack. For the same calories, I could eat a ridiculously large 800g of radishes. No, I would not eat that many and also I am talking about snacks, NOT main meals. I eat a 200g bag of radishes at 32 calories now instead of opening a 25g bag of…

NOT WHAT I ASKED THOUGH! If you asked a barrista for a skinny latte, and he gave you a bacon milk shake because it would fill you up longer, would you be happy with the response? I've asked a simply question for information for snacks. How I use that info is a different subject. Low calorie density snacks WORK FOR ME. They…

YOU'RE BRILLIANT!!!! Thanks for talking sense at last.
-
HOORAY!!! At last, somebody with sense. I'd hoped to not have to wade through the rubbish that an internet search throws up, by asking knowledgeable fellow dieters a SIMPLY question. Most folks here, though probably well meaning, absolutely ignored the words in the question in order to post their own diet, ideas, or…

HIGH calorie per 100g
-
Brilliant point, but it absolutely still has to be low calories for my requirements. Oats for example are quite high cal/100g and are very slow burn. I use such foods and techniques for main means etc. For snacks though, (and thus not long lasting food), I need to fill my stomach to last the shorter space between those…

Cals per 100g is a standardised means of comparing energy ratings for foods.
-
Yes exactly. Otherwise you are told a pizza is ??? calories per slice, but what is a slice? It may be a 15inch pizza cut into 3 slices. It may be a 8inch pizza cut into 20 slices. That tiny sliver of pizza ain't going to be more than a tooth cavity full, but will be low calories. A thimble full of lard is low calories, but…

How many calories per 100g?
-
A thimble of lard? A teaspoon of doner kebab. LOW CALORIES / 100grams PLEASE
-
Granola bar at 150cal/30g is 500cal/100g. But, some great ideas apart from that. Thanks.
-
Hooray for someone that gets what I'm after. LOW CALORIES /100g ONLY PLEASE.
-
For me, if they aren't taking up stomach space, that's an hour of suffering hunger whilst picking impatiently at shells. They are merely speed bumps, and I will remain hangry foraging them. I stated "low calorie" / 100g as that's what works for me. I really appreciate all input, but Pistachios have a huge calorie/100g…
-
A lot of Calories per 100g though. 562cal/100g
-
Apple 52cal/100g
-
Banana 89cal/100g
-
Little packets of radishes are doing it for me right now. 16 cal per 100g

On the subject of reading, did you actually bother to read the original post? Did I mention not chewing the food at all? I am talking about the amount that you break the food down before swallowing it. Subsequent posts have been about emphasising that point. I hate to be rude like this, but your comment was a bit…

Another sensible and interesting insight. Thank you sir.
-
At last, some sense! Thank you sir for understanding the post and giving some interesting feedback.

But not tomato seeds and sweetcorn. I imagine it would have effect on high calorie things such as seeds that are very difficult for the body to break into. Without being first ground up by the teeth, these often go straight through the system to plant themselves in the compost we poo out. It's their very purpose. If you…
