@3DCAKE I’m new to the community forums and am not sure how to reply directly to your comment so hope you see this! Thank-you for the kind words! It can be hard to concentrate on healthy eating when your living with/around people who indulge frequently. Out of sight out of mind works really well for me, so when you…

I lost 150 over the past few years and gained 30 back since August. I am bummed too and trying to not stress more and keep pushing forward to make up lost ground. I understand how frustrating it can be and think the morning boot camp is an awesome way to start the day!

I always keep a health warrior pumpkin seed bar in my bag! The peanut chocolate flavor has decent protein and is not a sugar bomb. Sometimes I grab a chocolate mint garden of life protein bar and it tastes really good and keeps me full. Most other bars like Lara bars, zone etc immediately bloated me and sat in my tummy…

Congratulations on the decision to quit!! I quit 5 years ago and wish you luck! Sugar free cough drops helped me a lot in the beginning:)

Thank-you for the kind words! I will try to remember how far I’ve come and maybe it will help me stay positive. I’m sorry you’ve gained it all back, it is very frustrating. I am just trying to keep telling myself if I did it once I can do it again;) I’m glad your starting again and wish you luck + strength!!!

Underground Wellness! There are no more new episodes, but all of the podcasts are still available and are super positive and informative about nutrition and health. I think the blog is still being updated. If your looking for pure motivation, check out navy seal Jocko podcast or anything with David Goggins!

For the breakfast suggestion, I often have to do a rush breakfast in the car and do well taking along a green smoothie with protein powder boost. If you have a little time to do meal prep on the weekend the best is baking up a batch egg/turkey sausage/spinach cups in a muffin tin and then your set for the week. You said…

I never had a pumpkin pancake before! I’m so excited to try one now, thank you:) Also, I just noticed there is a separate area just for recipes that I never noticed before. Sorry if this post is in the wrong place.

I have a similar issue with iron/anemia and take floradix daily, it is expensive, but has no constipating side effects. When I can’t afford it I prep lentils and spinach and it really helps keep my levels from totally crashing.

I am sorry you are suffering and hope you feel better soon! I also am healing from an injury. Not as severe as yours, but still impacting my ability to excercise and move comfortably. First, sorry if this may be TMI, but the medications you may have been given for pain and swelling are dehydrating and can cause…

I use Garden of Life Raw meal vanilla. It has 20g protein per scoop and flavor is pretty mild. Definitely give it a chance blended with the basic budget smoothie: banana, cinnamon and almond milk. It is sold in sample size packets too. Good luck on your search!

I’m glad your getting in the eight glasses of water, that’s difficult sometimes. The basic water recommendation is for a basic day. Since your working out more intensely and it’s the hottest part of the summer, def increase or double. I agree with another poster who mentions working out in the heat causing skin problems,…

I’ve been there! Usually when I’m really stressed this happens. Hungry but nothing seems delicious. Def want a meal, not a snack. My trick was to have a liquid meal. Make a green protein smoothie or a simple soup like lentil or chicken and veggies. That way I got the balanced meal in me, the full meal feeling and could…

I’m sorry your suffering. Making all these great healthy changes and having skin troubles as a reward for your hard work is really frustrating! I have rosacea as well. I’m wondering if it could be a reaction from the fruit your eating? It took me awhile after going off processed sugar to realize that I get a breakout when…

Congratulations for keeping off the 35 pounds for 2 years! I was about to post something similar when I this. I’ve lost over a hundred pounds and have been on a really great flow. In the past 2 weeks I’ve hurt my back and hip and am not allowed to go to the gym. In the stressful process of transferring schools and other…

So glad you posted this! I have a similar problem with going overboard and it’s distracting. In order to enjoy the treat and not trigger a spiral I combine something healthy with the treat or make a healthy-ish version to satisfy the craving. So instead of just eating all the dark chocolate, I’ll dip fruit, drizzle it over…
