VERY surprising. Now I'm MUCH more aware of what I'm actually eating, and when I do eat something "junky" it's a conscious decision, not something mindless.

Today I finished the chicken salad sandwich and the bag of chips. A very satisfying lunch. I now have tuna steaks defrosting for dinner.

So I drank like 4 bottles of water today, and miraculously, the headache has dissipated some. It's still there, but less. I don't know if it's the essential oil, or the water, or the meds, but either way, it's going away. It's a relief.

I'm due for a physical next month. I went for a blood pressure recheck. It's still high-ish, so they're putting me on something else.

Cut back (nearly out) soda. No conscious salt reduction, low calorie according to MFP suggestion. I am NOT getting enough water. Fairly certain that is a MAJOR contributor. No extra exercise program. Thank you so much for the suggestions!

Discovering that eating within the caloric goal isn't that hard, and you tend to make better choices when you realize that many things are simply "empty" calories with ZERO benefit. That Captain D's was great today, but it's a super simple salad for dinner because of it.

If this is eating relatively healthy, I can do this!! I used my food saver on the big salmon filet I bought at Aldi's. Cut it into 5-6 oz portions and froze them.
