  • Ahh so I'm guessing you got fed up of the airport filing job you had? :') honestly though best of luck with the move, I hope Irma didn't effect your plans too much.
  • Also @Squirrelnaut I had a read of your old posts and in terms of the loss the improvement in winter makes sense. You actually need more calories in cold conditions so it stands to reason that you would lose better in winter.
  • So @ColtonrDaniels you're moving to Orlando?! I'm going to be honest, this definitely doesn't help my thinking you're actually secretly Darryl Wisner. Bear in mind I have never seen a photo of that man, but you are what I think he looks like :')
  • Yeah those large fries are a little excessive! We actually have a Five Guys three in fact) in Manchester so I have been on occasion. They're good but it's a bit pricey
  • In other news, I accidentally pulled a 140kg deadlift. On one hand I'm happy I made it but on the other I'm annoyed that I made such a stupid mistake (misscounting the weight). It could have meant serious injury. Double check your weights kids!
  • Fair, it's the same old thing of the bad press taking president over the good then?
  • I'm over in England so we don't have TSA, though depending who you ask that's probably a good thing since they seem to have a bad rep. I think I do similar though in terms of job, search people, bags, unattendeds. I just try to be decent with the passengers though, a lot of the time they make genuine mistakes.
  • Walk it if you need to walk it man. No one is going to judge you for that :)
  • Haha cheers sir, but honestly the whole let down thing was mostly sarcasm. Though I suppose that doesn't quite carry on the Internet. As far as work, yeah we have our quiet moments but since I work security at an airport now I am spending 90% of my shifts on my feet (actually in terms of steps it's about 19 miles a day).
  • After lapsing on posting I decided I should come back because I miss you you all :P. that and I feel like I'm bring a bit of a let down! haha. Anyway, currently sitting at 91kg which is down 5kg since January. I'd personally put it down to getting a more active job and more consistent eating. It does cost me about £10 a…
  • Yeah belive it or not I know how to make a more healthy version of donner kebabs and burgers and fried things especially chicken too. I'll get the details up if you're interested?
  • Haha @Nelly what us it you miss? I might be able to think up a version that won't kill you
  • A 114lb drop is definitely something worth taking notice of! Keep up the good work Squirrel, you're killing it. Col, well the weights are going up so I imagine there's more muscle somewhere haha! Might need a case of taking a photo then one in 6 moths though.
  • 91 kg here! Weight has maintained over the past few weeks. But I'm not complaining since I'm more interested in less fat rather than less weight.
  • Hey just wanted to say I'll be keeping an eye on the group too. Hopefully I'll have some useful advice to give. No promises though! :')
  • Yeah Col that's exactly the thing. It's pretty handy to travel with and you can get more durable metal filters too. I get you with saving up though, sometimes trying to be sensible with money sucks :')
  • It is a shame there's such low participation, maybe the GFB community just have other interests. Shame though but if you guys decide to stop posting best of luck with your goals. :)
  • Damn it's never good being short on money, I hope it looks up for you soon. As far as coffee and it's transportation I'd suggest an aeropress and some fresh ground when you get the money to afford it. There's literally nothing like good coffee done well
  • Might be worthwhile laying off the energy drinks @Col. Even though you can drink zero calorie energy drinks it's pretty much all chemicals. What do you guys tend to eat by the way?
  • In contrast, I but on a little apparently. It was only 500g though so for now I'd call it negligible. Maybe next Monday I should go to the bathroom first or something :')
  • I hope no one minds but I thought I'd add my first Monday weigh in on this thread. I currently stand at 91.5kg or 202lbs. Squirrel, as the others have said don't let a 1lb gain get you down. To put it into perspective 1lb is about 450 grams or two decent chicken breasts. It's literally that small. Your weight could change…
  • Yeah the reviews all seem pretty positive. It seems like a good starting point for anyone interested in powerlifting or even just building strength over sheer muscle size. I'll post up a review after I've used the program but that won't be for a few months.
  • I'd say 205 was about right, I always forget to post lbs conversions but Google is accurate. In terms of exercise I'm about to start on a version of GreySkull LP which is a more power lifting focused routine than my previous one which was a little more bodybuilding. The GreySkull program follows a 5x5 scheme and centers…
