Whatever works for you is best. I personally like the accountability of logging something and staying within my calorie goals. Once I get to goal, I intend to keep tracking because I think it will be key in successfully keeping it off.

I weigh daily to see the fluctuations and record it on HappyScale and then once a week on here. I like to see the daily trend and how different foods/meals/circumstances affect my weight.

So, for me this is exactly how I feel. I use the food notes section to journal my thoughts throughout the day. Like how I am feeling and how I can improve. So, I changed my weight loss goal from 2 pounds to maintenance just to see the information and now it won't change back. It shows the current goal of 2 pounds on the settings page but not on tomorrow's food diary (and on). Is there a way to fix this?
