Quitting is easy. Some weeks I'll quit like 4 or 5 times! Staying quit is the hard part. At least for me. While I was never a heavy smoker (about 1/2 pack a day, max), I smoked and dipped for years. When I finally succeeded at quitting, some things that made it easier: 1. Pick a day/time, mark the calendar, and just do it.…

A quick google of "eating disorder support group" can be helpful. First off, please know that *most* people have some sort of [mental/emotional/physical] disorder. The healing process includes conscious acknowledgement (which I think you have), learning and embracing healthy coping strategies, and surrounding yourself with…

Day 13 - Genuinely, no cravings for soda. Went out for dinner, and felt no deprivation at getting water.
-
Day 12 - Available calories giving me "permission" to eat a slice of cake without guilt.
-
Day 11 - I have noticed more fulfilling, uninterrupted sleep... Interruptions due to visiting daughters are excluded!

How long ago was your last juice fast? I haven't heard much about dry skin being a common side-effect (though certainly possible). I would look more at other factors, such as season/weather, TOM, or medical "flare-ups".

Day 10 - Simplifying grocery shopping lists, having some typical yet rotating meal plans.
-
Day 9 - Wearing a suit (albeit a bit snug) to a Father Daughter dance.

Day 8 - Kids helping make dinner! Last night we had mini pot pies (homemade, cooked in a muffin pan).

Day 7 - [Nod to Megan] My dog is a great fitness buddy, as she is always happy to go for a walk and play outside. Not just an "okay, I guess I can go with you" kind of buddy, but the "Oh, Yes, PLEASE! I would LOVE to go outside again. I know we just got back, but if you wanna go for another lap, I am SO down with that!"…

Day 6 - Actually looking forward to exercise. Keeping it light and short, but enjoying it and looking forward to upping intensity.
-
Day 5 - Feeling of hunger all the time gradually transitions to feeling light... Maybe light-headed. :0)
-
Day 4 - I love when my wife and/or I use a new recipe... Double-points for when the kids like it!

Loey - Thanks for the website. $5 for a meal seems pretty competitive with fast-food and takeout, but home-prepped always wins. I'm genuinely curious as to how many people would prefer to pay the extra to save the convenience.

Day 3 - Coming to the end of the day and realizing that I still have 800 calories left, so I get to enjoy a treat.

Thanks usmcmp and Melanie. Great things to consider.

Whirly - Thanks for the response! My goal would be to provide hot/fresh meals (not to be reheated), and hopefully with a very efficient delivery method. Maybe some would be at the same location (school, office, retirement village). If all were pre-ordered the night before, I could have a route to maximize efficiency. Or,…

Day 2 - My young daughters genuinely enjoyed exercising with dumbbells. It's the novelty, I'm sure, but it brings me joy that they eagerly want to exercise with me.
