I'm recently back after a few months of depression and comfort eating and big weight gain. I'm a little shakey, but I need to get back on track. Feel free to add me and let's get back in control!

Thank you @Steplag. Whatever you did worked. I am registered for January and requested workout warriors. Excited to get started, so thanks again.
-
@steplag @mari___ moulin Can one of you accept me again? Still have no permission at the join page. Is like to give this one more try. Thanks.
-
@steplag @mari_moulin still having issues. When I click join I am back to the page saying I need to enter why I want to join before being accepted. When I click on the link you posted for January registration, it says I don't have permission to access that page.

Hi again. Sorry, but I clicked on January Registration and it is still saying that I do not have permission to access it. Maybe I'm missing a step?
-
Hello. I've entered my reason for wanting to join. I'm just wondering how I will be contacted when or if I'm accepted?

Hi. I do friends, I'll send you a friend request. Exercising is for fitness, eating less calories than you burn is how you lose weight. You'll find tons of support here.....welcome!

I log weight gains because what is the point of not? Who would you be hiding it from? You already know! We have to try to let go of shame, that keeps us sick. It is what it is and today is a new day.

Wow....inspiring!

Feel free to add me. I log regularly and have my diary open.

Hi. Feel free to add me. I log regularly and have an open diary.

It was really hard for me to accept that I had to eat more to lose weight, particularly more fat. I get you OP!
-
Also sleep tracking. Apparently I slept for 8 hrs and 16 min with 420 minutes awake. I think I would have noticed!
-
Why would people not want to hear that message? I found it very helpful, and also hopeful. I like knowing that walking my dog 3 times a day is a very positive step toward improving quality of life. It isn't necessarily all about going hardcore in a gym. Thanks for the post OP.

This. Who is "they" that told you 1000 a day? It wasn't MFP. Please don't risk your health to lose faster. So not worth it!
-
If you're nervous about 30 calories then I'd be worried that you have lost perspective. Have you and your hubby considered seeking out a registered dietician? Your body is telling you loud and clear that it is not getting what it needs to function in a healthy way. Please listen to it.

Wow...just wow. 6 eggs and 16 Oz of chicken? I'd have to quit my job and spend my days in a gym. Maybe in my next life!
-
You folks are hilarious.....and I mean no disrespect, truly. I aspire to be one of you some day. I actually thought at one point that you were all talking to me....and I was kinda confused....I don't lift or cut or drink quarts of egg whites. Lol I thank you all for the input. I have gotten my question answered and then…
-
That's a funny visual...made me laugh.
-
Briefly uncomfortable the first time you measure....but it's great in a few weeks or a month when you see real progress!
-
I couldn't access your diary.
-
It also show 8002 grams of protein in one serving?
-
I've read about it.....it's trendy. I worry it's going to be like the "giving up gluten" thing. Tons of people went gluten free unnecessarily. Those veggies have essential nutrition. Maybe talk to your doctor before you give up all those great foods? If you follow the plan.....that's a lot of food types to give up!
-
Well that's great! Don't worry about the scale. You're doing everything right...the scale will show it in time.
-
You'll hear this a million times on the boards here......exercise is for fitness, calorie deficit is for weight loss. Are you weighing and measuring everything that you eat? You have to count every calorie. But...nice job on the losses you have had, and all that working out is absolutely benefiting your health. Good luck.
-
Thanks. Good advice.
-
Meat sushi? Sounds good
-
LOL that's funny.
