When I broke mine exercise was out as I had to have it elevated above heart high for the majority of every day for 6 weeks. Even a knee scooter to go to the bathroom or essential thing like getting food was painful as it throbbed relentlessly when not raised. Mind you I had 6 hours of surgery to repair it as it was badly…

Coeliacs don't choose to go gluten free it's mandatory for their health. However I choose to go gluten free because I have 4 coeliac kids therfore my house is 100% GF for their safety. I stick to it when I'm out out of respect for them.

Hearing Michael Buble at any time makes me feel suicidal but when he warblers out Xmas bull I become a suicidal homicidal maniac. Cue the eye rolling and snorting.

Fish.
-
True. But I can avoid gyms. I'm allergic to fish and seafood and have violent vomiting fir 2-4 hours after smelling it - and it's instant. I seldom have time to get to a bathroom to vomit. I can't avoid lunchrooms, planes etc as easily as I can avoid gyms.
-
I couldn't care less about perfume in gyms but in my perfect world no one would be able to eat fish in a public place or work lunchroom.

Scrambled eggs 5days a week, poached on weekends. No toast, just on their own. 2 of my coeliac kids were sick and massively underweight so I started doing this for their breakfasts although they have toast. 18 months later and they still insist every day. Nothing else tempts them. The occasional time I tried pancakes we…

Not everyone gets headaches or withdrawals from giving up coffee. Simply stop. Drink water try both chilled and quite hot. Personally I love a slice of lemon in my water.

This. I have my period.

Of their own species. Do you see them drinking off a fully grown cow? Do you think they could tolerate cows milk? Cows milk is designed for rapid muscle growth in calves. I doubt Guinea pigs or humans need that.
-
And most dint tolerate it. They simply like the taste. Both nu cat and my dog will gobble cows milk but will have violent diarrhea from it. Most humans will willingly eat sugar, chocolate, candy, cake, alcohol etc but that doesn't mean they should or that it's good for them.

You can develop an intolerance or allergy at any time of your life, regardless of whether you've been eating it for years. IMO dairy is very tasty, relatively cheap and an easy source of protein for humans but NOT healthy or ideal. No other species goes and sucks on another species once it's weaned so why do we gobble the…

More importantly : women do you actually care what men think?

I think you'll find it's Uluru.

I've read somewhere that dieting isn't good while breastfeeding as you may limit the nutrients in the milk when limiting yourself. I've also read that fat breakdown can release toxins into your milk - but no idea if that's official or not.

I'm not coeliac but I have 3 kids who are.

IMO schools and teachers should not be trying to police good and nutrition because they are absolutely CLUELESS, and they under no circumstances should be offering snacks or treats. Where I'm from parents pack all food : lunches and snacks. However schools try to police healthy eating and man are they utterly clueless.

It's essential for me. I'm on call for my job and get up and out to work at all hours of the day and night. I can be away from home for 70+ hours straight so meal planning and preparation is essential or I will eat the only crap available. It's hard. At times I have to have 3 meals cooked and packaged and figure out how to…

Nope. I weigh a week out and then at the end. Love seeing that loss. If I weigh during I see no loss or a gain. I seem to hold onto 1-3kg. And man do I feel that fluid in my breasts.

Steamed spinach. God I love it. I often have it alone as a snack.

It's cheating, full stop.

Thanks for sharing your journey. I have to say I've decided against this surgery after reading this but I may get my arms done. Hope you continue to heal well.
-
My advice is to get walking asap after surgery. I got up an hour after getting out of the recovery room. Then I set my alarm and walked every hour increasing it from once around the ward to 5 times around by second day. It meant virtually no nausea and very little pain.

Anything NOT made by Starbucks.

Going gluten free eliminated my long term GERD. absolutely GF not just mostly. That means even traces in sauces etc. It took a month but worked 100%. Oh and oats had to go too.

Apparently women become invisible after 50. I'm 50 in 2 weeks and can't wait. I've achieved so much and feel well loved and successful. I'm celebrating big time. I couldn't care less if I'm invisible to the opposite sex or anyone else. I like me and I'm proud of myself. I wear nice clothes, makeup and perfume entirely for…

Quinoa. God I hate it.

Much the same could be said about vaping, hypnosis and nicotine patches to help smokers give up. Whatever a person nerds to help them kick their bad habit is okay by me. No one is superior because they lost weight/stopped smoking by sheer will power alone.
