The other day I said to my daughter " oh my god, feel this!!!" and put her hand on my collar bone, she was confused and couldn't figure out what she was feeling for.... but as I explained, I haven't been able to feel these things in years!! I'm only 5'3... MFP says I'm allowed only 1200 Calories to lose a pound a week, so I just increased my activity levels . I always eat over 1200, because 1200 just isn't enough, I'd starve to death. But I make sure to burn anything over 1200. And this has been working for me.

That's disappointing, I should have stuck with Fitbit, that is my favorite feature, that it tells me how many calories I have remaining at the end of the day to either eat or work off. I'm in!!... I was almost hitting 170 lbs when I decided it was time to lose weight. I'm now at 141.8 lbs and working my way down to 120 lbs (I'm only 5'3) So I have just over 20 more lbs to go. I love the encouragement I get from the MFP friends that I have made.

I weigh daily now.. I used to do it once a week, but would get discouraged if there wasn't much of a change, but now that I do it daily and keep track I can see the downward trend, which encourages me and I expect the fluctuation..

If I go over my calories, I just do a work out in the evening to burn the extra calories off.

44 here.... I have 23 lbs more to lose to reach my goal.... My highest weight was 167 I'm down 24 lbs from my peak My rut of 6 months is over and I'm finally starting to see some results again. Self confidence grows with every lbs lost

I made my food diary public to my friends just yesterday and I find that it really made me more conscious of what I'm eating. I don't want people to see me eating crappy food. It's a good motivator!!

Ok. so I enter all my calories which syncs in to my fitbit, and then I use the fitbit to track my calories burned. So if my fitbit tells me I am allowed 200 more calories for the day after logging all of my food and after it tracks my calories burned. I go by that. Not MFP.
