I have pf its very restrictive. I do daily physio for it and have found earth spirit shoes to be life changing! I am currently doing Chalean extreme which is a weight based programme. I am really enjoying it.

When you tap on nutrition on your diary you are taken to a page with 3 tabs calories, nutrients and macros. it shows you calories which is a pie chart. If you click on nutrients it will show how many grams mfp suggests you eat of protein etc and how many vitamins and minerals you should aim for. I think you may have missed…

You look amazing. So fit and slim. It is so hard to see yourself as the rest of the world do. Sounds like you lost the weight quickly too so your brain will take time to catch up with what you are actually seeing. As someone who doesn't know you and is where your before picture is. You are an inspiration and motivation.

you are stunning. What an amazing and inspiring transformation.

Thank you so much for your reply. I will have a look at nerd fitness.

Shamelessly bumping incase anyone in a different time zone can help!

I'm cutting down on carbs too. Generally calorie counting though. I don't want to ban anything. I need this to be sustainable forever this time. Anyone fancy a fitness challenge this week? 3 workouts of your choice 30 minutes minimum, 10 squats, crunches and push ups a day. Anyone in?
-
welcome back. I did the same. 12 days in already 12lb lighter hoping I can lose it as quickly as I gained it. Love a bit of mutual support.

My favourite at the moment is fried onion, garlic and carrot. add dried red lentils, stock, Tin tomato and lots of cumin. So easy, filling, and delicious. I use one cal spray oil and its 168 calories a portion.

Fantastic. you look fabulous

You have done amazingly. I hope I look so different after 70lb. Do you still have the leopard print shirt? pop that on I bet you can wrap yourself up in it!
-
What a wonderfully positive post. I can feel the glow from the UK. Thank you.

Why is your intake so low? If you added 250 cals you could have some scrambled egg on toast or a bowl of cereal before bed to prevent waking hungry and eating far more than that. Add a half hour walk if you want to negate the calories.
-
What are you craving for? No need to ban anything. Just work it in to your calorie allowance.

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope your day is filled with things to make you smile. I have 2 germy children and a germy husband. So my day will not be the most productive! I'm so sorry you are getting so little medical support. Have a look at www.ehlers-danlos.org they have some excellent information sheets. I give them to all health professionals and my daughters teachers. I trained as a dancer until I was 18 and the eds incapacitated me causing diagnosis. My hypermobility was an asset…

Are you a member of the Ehlers danloss society? They have some great message boards. There may be professionals there who can give you really specific support.

That's dreadful. Where do you live? I'm in the UK and spent 2 weeks as an in patient when I was diagnosed having amazing holistic treatment. I wasn't walking when I went in and could when I came out! My knee issues were caused by the way I walked. protecting my hips from dislocation. It also affected my spine which…

Do you ever put a chunk of lemon in your water? I am full of germs today and have drunk mugs of warm water with a chunk of lemon in the bottom. I find it a very gentle and comforting drink. My just for day has been just get through the day! We all have fevers. My house is like a quarantine zone!

Hi I have eds hypermobility type. Do you have a physio? I do a lot of weight and band work. short lever, slow controlled moments. Initially focusing on one joint at a time so I could pay total attention and ensure I was working hard and safely. I have now built up good muscle around my joints which prevents a lot of sub…

My daughter has food allergies (anaphylactic) and intolerances. She is affected by wheat rather than gluten which may be worth keeping in mind. If you have noticed issues after eating bread it may be an issue with yeast. Do you keep a food/symptom diary? It could be worth doing while you try to pinpoint any issues.…

Hi Joan-waves! I have a 1 litre bottle that I carry around with me everywhere. As soon as I finish it I fill it up. I have only just started logging and never took much notice of how much I drink. I normally fill it 4 times a day. Always take a full bottle to bed and drink whatever is left before I get up. So start the day…
