  • I agree! I wanted a pb&j sandwich one day and thought of making it in oatmeal form. It’s so good! I use PB2 and stevia sometimes instead of real PB.
  • It is like an Italian sausage. I’m not sure what that is normally made of so I can’t say for sure.
  • We do steak filets a lot. I kabob any vegetable that looks good to go with it. Brussel sprouts are good grilled but so are zucchini and pepper. Potatoes in foil with garlic, salt and pepper. I put fresh herbs on most everything for flavor. Sometimes we do chicken sausage from Publix, super good! Blackened shrimp on…
  • 5’8” 135 to 137 pounds. Hourglass shape with a flat bottom. Size 6 in most brands. Size 4 at Old Navy.
  • Yogurt with fruit and granola would keep in a lunch box well. Hummus and veggies. Air popped popcorn is great for a snack.
  • Congrats! I just graduated as a NP last weekend. I had three days in a row that were “cheat” celebrating days. I ate light, like veggies, hummus and fruit type meals for other meals on the days other than the gatherings. I did have some alcoholic beverages but moderate intake. I had apps and desserts too but but shared a…

I wouldn’t mind being 130ish but I want to take time to maintain for a while and work on fitness goals. Maintenance weight range: 135 +\- 2lbs Average weight recorded…
  • I really hate this too! I get it with weigh, running, grad school, work, etc. It is really upsetting when our efforts are taken for granted. I guess we should take it as a compliment that we make it look easy but jeez isn’t that hard! The only thing I hate worse is, “your skinny because you have good genes” or “must be…
  • I completely understand what you mean. I often few the same and have been trying to work through. Funny thing is I feel it more now that I have lost some weight and toned up a bit. I agree with others that are saying it’s more a mind/perception issue than with your actually body. I have tried to read up on body positivity,…
  • You should be proud! Good job! Keep it up!
  • I see your point. I think it depends on a few factors. It depends if you want to eat less calories or burn more. I choose somewhere in the middle. It also depends how much you run and how much you want to lose. 8lbs in a year would be a significant amount of weight for me to lose so I am happy with a number like that. For…
  • I started running last March to help lose weigh and be more active. Like the above poster said it doesn’t help lose weigh on it’s on but it does burn calories. It all about the intake vs the output. For me, it allows me to burn some calories so I can eat more. For years I would diet by eating 1200 calories a day and a…
  • I’m 5’8” which normally feels tall compared to a lot of other girls I am around. I believe most sources just start considering girls “tall” at my height. If it helps I aim for about 2100 cals for maintenance. I am between 135-137 most days. I am fairly active running 3 miles a few days a week and 1 or 2 light 30 min…
  • 10 min abs by the 21 fix trainer leaves my abs fatigued every time. Google it and you can find it. As everyone has stated no exercise will spot reduce fat or excess tissue but a strong core has a few other health benefits.
  • I made my own frozen breakfast burritos. You can fill them with anything you like and I find they reheat really well in the microwave.
  • Calia brand has some good options that work for me. I think it depends on your band size too. I have DD but smaller band size so I wear a medium unwired sports bra. I’ve heard anyone over C should wear underwire sports bras but I just can’t stand them.
  • I put chia seeds in mine. It helps fill me up. I don’t get them often. It’s a good quick grab “food” for me.
  • I agree it could be an allergy, especially if you have changed toothpaste or been trying new foods. Something else it could be is glossitis from a B12 deficiency. Look at this link....https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/vitamin-b12-deficiency-symptoms#section5 Either way you should probably speak to your doctor about it.
  • Thanks for all the responses. There was alot of good info on here and also much needed reassurance. I weighed this am and am down 2 of the 4 pounds. That’s after two nights of eating only at home and a slight deficit.
  • Thanks for the input. I am interested to see if the shoes improve it. I’ll let y’all know how the shoes improve it when I get them.
  • I had dental surgery done a few months ago too. I had Halo Top ice cream which is high in protein and awesome, yogurt, puréed tomato and black bean soup, egg salad very finely chopped and smoothie bowls. My dentist told me to only eat cold foods the first two days and use an ice pack which really helped. I couldn’t…
