Having dental implants in three days!! Any health advice/tips to stay healthy while recovery?

So I’m just a few days I am going to have dental implant operation on two of my front upper teeth. I am told that I will have to stick to a soft diet. What are some foods I should stock up on that are nutrient dense and some tips and advice I should keep in mind. I know after surgery I’m going to probably not be able to even exercise for like two weeks. Any advice or comment is appreciated :)

I guess you should stock up on nutrient dense foods that will be acceptable pureed. And buy a blender if you don't have one already. And speedy recovery to you.

I had an implant done a few months ago.
I had the bad tooth pulled and the metal anchor was put into the gum/jaw, then it was capped and left to heal for a month, After it was healed I went in and had impressions done and a few weeks later the new tooth was installed. Mine wasnt a front tooth, but upper side tooth. It wasnt bad, I chewed on the other side and ate softer food for a day or two but was back to normal food really fast.
I had avocado, yogurt, cottage cheese and soft fruit.

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, I ate lots of yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, applesauce, soups and pasta dishes. One of my favorites I made was egg "tostada's". It was a scrambled egg fried in a small pan, and flipped over so it looked like a tostada shell. Then I topped it with refried beans, salsa, cheese and sour cream. Very flavorful, nutrient dense, and easy to eat.

Back when I had braces, and it was too painful to chew even pasta dishes I went for things that I could just swallow. Smoothies, spaghetti-o's, Ramen that was crushed up before cooking, those Campbell's "soup on the go" things, even ice cream. If that's the case, slim fast, boost, or ensure shakes would even be a good option.

Hope this helps, and you recover quickly!

    Bones, for stock, for soup.

    And a blender.

After these basics, the rest is up to your personal preferences.

I had dental surgery done a few months ago too. I had Halo Top ice cream which is high in protein and awesome, yogurt, puréed tomato and black bean soup, egg salad very finely chopped and smoothie bowls. My dentist told me to only eat cold foods the first two days and use an ice pack which really helped. I couldn’t exercise really but I did walk some. Good luck!

Whenever I had dental surgery I was told to avoid all dairy products for at least a week, and all of you list yogurt and cottage cheese to eat. Actually I never understood this advice, I thought it had something to do with the bacteria in dairy but now I see that I could have eaten all my beloved yogurt and cheese... :(
