I get the same problem. Give it a rest to heal and go see a Physio. I got a Physio to show me how to strap my cruciate and vmo. I take turmeric tablets and use tons of antiflam. No squats below 90 degrees now for me. I do one work out a week in water.

I had an in body scan done so I know my resting metabolism is 1440 calories per day. I am currently cutting for a comp so am on 1200 calories per day eating keto. Am maintaining my muscle and loosing fat. 12 weeks to go!

My current favs are Egg white omelettes with 1 while egg and half a cup of egg whites with 3 cups of green vege. Yum. Casein and Greek yoghurt and blueberries.

I do about 30 mins every day. I do sprints, high knees, jumping jacks, skips and I do mixed too so instead of normal jumping jacks I do 2 wide then 2 narrow jumps. Change up the speed of the jumps and the intensity. I listen to music or watch tv and the time goes really fast. Kids love it too.

Dry brush your skin to encourage circulation. Use an essential oil like grapefruit or lemon or lime mixed into a base oil and rub into the skin to encourage lymphatic drainage. Drink tons of water. Cold showers and hot baths too.

Cycling is great but do lots without sitting in the saddle to strengthen quads and to develop balance. Do lots and lots of stairs sgsjn for strengthening the legs.
