Lots of deadmau5 lately, particularly looped mixes of "Hey Baby."

It's been good for me. Managed to find some good resources and change my thinking a little. Funny how the weight dropped off after that!

So, almost there. 145. It can be done.

Yep, but as mentioned, it's better on a stone, which absorbs that last bit of moisture from the center once it's been loaded with sauce and stuff. A baking sheet, even a lined one, leaves the very center still a bit damp. The key is make sure it's well baked before you load it up and get it as thin as you can before you…

https://www.greengiant.com/recipes/cauliflower-pizza-crust/ I make this one. It's better on a stone (crisper in the center), but it's good regardless. I hand-grate the real parm, too. Works out to about 50 calories a slice for 6 slices (crust only), even with using the real imported reggiano.

My new favourite breakfast: breakfast banana split. Banana halved lengthwise, cut side smeared with peanut butter, Greek yogurt down the middle, fruits, nuts, oats sprinkled on top. Maybe even some protein powder if I'm feeling it.

Well, they didn't suck. I used the recipe on the bag. I forgot I didn't have applesauce and was going to chop up some apple, but forgot. I did add a tablespoon of vanilla extract and 25g of my favorite vanilla whey isolate. So, they're a bit dry, but I'm dunking them, which helps. Next time, will make sure I have…

This. A bazillion percent this. I have fought severe and chronic depression for decades, alone, and failed more than once at making myself die. Even putting myself in situations where circumstance should make me die didn't work out. A month ago, I finally sought help. There are other complicating issues for me (lots of…

MR shakes don't work for me. I'd rather eat my calories. I do make a protein/milk shake up most days because I don't usually seem to eat enough protein. But it's a supplement, not a meal. Or I make a smoothie full of good stuff and throw some protein in that. Again, though, it's a supplement or a snack.

I use some of my weekly deficit to have a bit of bread in a bottle at the weekend. Works for me.

It's easy to stick to 1200 NET calories for the day, but that means you have to be exercising and eating back some or all of those calories burned. It's all a process and it cycles, too. My first month, I stuck to the 1200 (two pounds a week) and dropped 20 with that and walking one mile a day. That was mostly all I did.…

I got married at 47, almost 48. Had I known what I'd be dealing with 18 months later, I'd have left someone standing at the altar.

I just saw flapjacked mix for the first time, and it was in the bargain bin. Cinnamon apple. I happened to buy donut trays last weekend for a recipe that sucked. Thank heaven I found this! Making these in about an hour!

All kinds. Most (non-diet) hard candies are 10-20 calories apiece, at least the ones I see. I guess it's just down to how many you want to eat.
-
Looks fine to me. I'd add some protein, but that's it.

Starting weight: 215 lbs Average weight: no idea Weight trend this week: 0 Total weight lost: 60 lbs Total body fat lost: no idea My maintenance break continues. Life said f u, smokin'. I did begin losing again during week 2 of maintenance, and ended up losing about 7 pounds so far during this period. The last few days…

How many nuggos per serving?
-
This is my go-to. And I hand grate the real thing: parmesano reggiano. The serving listed in the macros is half a cup, but most often I used a quarter-cup. Half a cup is a lot. It reheats easily in the microwave, too, but gets saltier as it ages.

I'd also like to recommend a therapist if you don't already have one. Depression is a normal reaction to this diagnosis and can sabotage you at times, plus it gives you a safer space to express the frustration, grief, rage and guilt which all will come and go periodically. Perhaps also consult a registered dietitian, at…

Motivation for going through with it, or what?

Check to see what sweetener your powder uses. The "fake" ones tend to leave that aftertaste. They aren't meant to be heated, anyway. It changes their chemical composition. Usually the stevia-sweetened ones work better.

It's all about net calories at the end of the week or whenever you measure or weigh. Net deficit equals loss. Net surplus equals gain. Net zero equals maintenance, plus or minus some water, etc.

Papa John's and Domino's (and maybe others, but that's where I get my pizza) have pizza builder calorie calculators on their sites. Gives all the macros and some of the other stuff. I've gotten a couple down to 180-190 a slice. I'm not going to kid you, there are choices, decisions, and trade-offs to be made. Using those,…

It's still carbonated. Obviously not as much as when you pop the can, but it's by no means flat, either. I drink it all the time.

Impact whey isolate is what I use. I love all of them except the banana. The strawberry creme is best, I think. Rocky road is good, the mocha is a bit sweet for me. Cinnamon roll is great on my oatmeal or in my yogurt. I add the vanilla to my cheesecake (a recipe in the recipe board) and to all my homemade ice cream and…

They have a sandwich builder in the nutrition section of their site. I get steak and cheese on rye (when available) with white American and all the veg except olives, no sauce or dressing. It's insanely calorically cheap compared to many of the others.

Ozeri pronto. Can get it loads of places. 11-13 bucks

Hi, Mark. I call my nephew Bobo. He's 25 now, but still lets me. Welcome!

Howdy, neighbor.

I'm one week into a 2- to 4-week maintenance break right now. In four months I lost exactly 48 of the 65-75 I intended, and then didn't gain or lose an ounce for two weeks. Some trainers said to try a rest at maintenance since I haven't taken any. Without working out, I've gained 2 ounces eating about 400 calories more…
