Great discussion everyone! Glad I'm not alone! We can do this!!

I'm definitely not under maintenance I've been eating like this for a few months now, just I've been able to keep it at a slow gain because I work out but recently I got a stress fracture in my foot and pulled something iny ribs (probably an oblique but who knows) and haven't been able to hit the gym. I just need to cut it…

Yes, I used to be very overweight and lost a bunch of weight just going cold turkey. Once I got down to a weight that was too skinny I put on weight intentionally and that's when I reintroduced sugar back in to my life. I am going to have to go cold turkey again but it's been way more difficult this time around

I've been trying my best to avoid it. I'm a big time bored eater and also a night eater. I will wake up in the middle of the night with massive cravings for sugar. It's quite a battle. My weight loss was pretty simple: never miss a day in the gym and cut out fast food and just eating cleaner in general. It took about 2.5…

It's definitely an addiction! I went about 5 days last week without any desserts or anything but eventually caved and went off the deep end. Trying to start back up today. It's definitely annoying!
-
Thank you for the input. I appreciate it! I know I'm being annoying lol

Correct, I am struggling to find maintenance. My average burn through the fitbit app is around 4300 but I am rarely eating anywhere near that. My plan is to get rid of this extra water weight or whatever and then reduce my steps to around 15-20k and pick an arbitrary number of calories, maybe like 2300 or so and just…

Lol it's tough when you lose 150 pounds and see the scale jump up that much in a week. I am keeping track of my weight in mfp. I will try to relax a little more about it

So those potatoes are air fried with no oil or anything added to them. Would I add them as raw? Or baked?
-
It didn't feel like water weight though. My pants and belt felt much tighter. I know some of the 8 pounds was definitely water weight but over the week and a half of eating extra I saw a 4lb gain I think. That is my plan. I'm going to get down about 10 pounds to a weight I feel more comfortable at and then add my calories…

I would say on average I get between 30-35000 steps during the week and upwards of 40000 on the weekend. Being that I was unhappy with the weight gain, I did start to incorporate some running and eating less, around 2300-2400 calories. I also did try to incorporate some more protein in my diet the last few days but it is…

Hmm no I haven't considered that. Maybe that's the issue. I only recently upped my calories. I was eating around 2000 a day and still wasn't losing but was starving. Now it seems like I've done a lot of damage. I'm considering a fat burner to help suppress appetite
-
It says it is lol

Opened. I'm a very picky eater so I only eat a few different things. Over the past week I'm up 8 pounds. My pants fit a lot tighter. I'm not sure how 8 pounds is even possible, I mean 8*3500=28,000 calories over maintenance. There's no way lol. I'm still walking a lot and doing a full body dumbbell routine 3 times a week.…

Yes I log everything and use a did scale. After a few days of eating everything that mfp tells me to eat I've gained about 7 pounds. Thinking about cutting back
-
The weights are so much more different pre and post cooking.
-
So what do you guys recommend? Do you agree with GottaburnEmAll b and cut down on everything?
-
Yes it should be very close to being correct. I've had a Fitbit for almost two years and just upgraded to the versa black Friday
-
This is what a typical week is like for me
-
I just started lifting Wednesday. I am very weak. I lost so much muscle with all the weight I lost
-
There is no way I can only eat 900 calories a day. That would be starving myself
-
Yes I measure everything and pretty much eat the same thing everyday. Im a 25 year old male but am usually hungry on 2000 calories. It feels like I'm grinding my joints down and am gonna have joint problems in 10 years if I keep this up
-
I ended up going with breyers Oreo and chips ahoy cookie dough 2 in 1. Safe to say It didn't survive the weekend
-
Keep them coming lol. Trying to decide what to get tonight
-
Another question. Should I just worry about hitting my protein or should I worry about fats too? I've read about .4 g/ lb. But if I go over it doesn't matter correct?
-
My strength training is about a 30 minute full body dumbbell routine. It is the M&S routine found in the garage weight section. I go for two 60 minute walks and the rest is just daily activity.

Hello, I am a 24 year old 5'9 male that is 140 lbs. I average 20-30k steps a day and strength train to three times a week. What is my TDEE?
-
But should I cut my calories down?
-
Nope it's been raining where I live lol
-
Nope everything has stayed pretty consistent with what I had been doing
