I haven't yet increased my calories yet. It's been about 2 weeks and I've been maintaining until the past couple days0 -

so you're eating in what you perceive to be maintenance, and the same amount that you have been eating for the last 2 weeks?
have you increased your exercise or eaten things high in sodium recently?
its water weight, most likely.0 -

Yes the past week and a half I was maintaining and was getting ready to increase calories after this week but then these past few days I've been gaining like crazy lol haven't changed the diet at all I eat pretty much the same each day0 -

My first question was going to be if there was a change in diet (types if food, increase in sodium, etc.) or change in exercise? If you have increased exercise it can also water retention.0 -

It's the first week of summer, even if you didn't eat differently, did you go to any picnics or BBQs? Family outing? Beach trip? sun exposure even without a burn can increase water retention.0 -
Changed your lifting routine?0

Don’t change anything yet, stay the course.

It looks like water weight. But you are trying to gain anyways right? I'd give it another week and see what happens and adjust from there0

Another question. Should I just worry about hitting my protein or should I worry about fats too? I've read about .4 g/ lb. But if I go over it doesn't matter correct?0

worry about getting the right balance, there are so many factors.
Not been helpful in guidance, I'm still trying to get that balance.

Protein and fat is usually a minimum for me. Mind you I try not to eat so much fat that it crowds out my carbs during a bulk.0
