I am 5 foot 1 so at 10 st 5lbs i was very much in the overweight catergory and now at 9st 8lbs my bmi is 25.3 so I am still overweight but only by 2 pounds. I checked that my scales were level and in different parts of the house and it was the same reading and several days later its still the lower weight. They are brand…

Haha I have no idea where it's come from, though I think my butt is a little smaller but that doesn't account for all of it. The human body is weird.

So that's why I've been waking up to use the bathroom 2-3 times a night recently. Hard to be annoyed by it now that I know it's helping my weight loss. Though I'd only recently bought some new leggings in a smaller size and now they are a bit loose 😑

Very true haha since Xmas I've been maintaining and gaining. Only just saw a loss this week.

I'm 5'2 and my starting weight was 230 lbs in June 2016. A year and a half later I am now down to 142 lbs. I did no fad diet, all I did was count my calories and stay within my deficit and I lost weight. I didn't even start to exercise until 6 months after I'd started losing weight. Diets don't work. Lifestyle changes do.…

I weighed myself today and I'm down another pound at…

I still log as accurate as I can but I don't worry about how over my calories I was. It's my day and I'm going to enjoy it... and my cake!

Thanks. It is exciting, and also overwhelming to think of how far I've come, what I've learnt along the way, and just how much I've lost. You will get there. It takes patience, perseverance, and forgiving yourself for any missteps you make along the way. It's a marathon not a sprint so it will take time. I went through a…

Update - I am only 7lbs away from my original goal of 137lbs the highest end of my BMI

I picked a random number when I started of 10st(140lbs) because I never thought I'd actually get to that. I was 16st7lbs(231lbs) when I started, and as I had so much to lose I didn't want to be too ambitious. I am now 10st11lbs(151lbs) and have changed my goal weight to the very top of my BMI, and for my height (5"2) that…

Hi! I'm Claire, 31, 5'2, from the UK, and I have been overweight/obese since I was a teenager. SW - 231, CW - 162, GW - 137 and then reassess. I've been using MFP for a year now (started June 2016), ever since I was diagnosed with diabetes, turns out that was the best thing that ever happened to me as the news finally gave…
