By vegetarian, I'm going to assume not vegan and that you're still ok with animal products? If so, the following have insanely high amounts of protein: * eggs (esp. egg whites) * Greek yogurt * Cottage cheese * Whey

Way to go!

I prefer unflavored. Look for something with whey; that's the only ingredient you need. It has just a slight milky aftertaste, which is unnoticeable when added to a fruit smoothie.

With 1) a pull-up bar, 2) adjustable dumbbells, and 3) bench you can find ways to workout pretty much every muscle group.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. Add me if you need a MFP buddy.

One trick I use is to eat somewhat sparingly throughout the day. That way I always have more than enough calories to satisfy my nightly hunger pains.
-
I find extremes of any type rather unattractive.

Used to be beer. I swapped that addiction with seltzer water to a staggeringly effective degree.
-
I'm the opposite. While I eat throughout the day, I save about half of my calories for night. Otherwise I'll overeat.

I pretty much live off ten or so ingredients.. everyday foods would be Egg whites Greek yogurt Almond milk Spinach Onion Ezekiel bread Salmon
-
I pretty much live off three dishes, but I've always been a man of habit. For instance, at work, the chefs would start making my breakfast/lunch as soon as they saw me walk in the cafeteria.
-
I leave myself at least 300 calories to snack on before bed. Problem solved.

Are those representations of thetan levels?

Have you read reviews from actual nutritionists on this? Cleanses tend to be one of those gimmicky products which aren't worth their money. Granted I don't know this specific "cleanse," but if it's like the rest of them, the general idea is to starve you (you'll lose fat but also muscle). It's probably better to make…

High protein is easy if you have the right foods! My staples are egg whites, Greek yogurt, fish and poultry. Some whey in my fruit smoothies. Gets me to 150+ grams of protein daily, even going < 2,000 calories!

Pretty sure Abraham Lincoln warned about trusting everything you read on the internet.

Misinformation comes from lack of critical thinking from those who hear something and parrot the misinformation as undisputed fact. This applies to so many things in life, not just nutrition.

Greek yogurt (seems popular here!) Carrots Egg

Chipotle

Seafood is huge on protein!

I'm no expert, but I'm in a similar situation. I'm 5'10 and have gone from 175 lbs to 160 lbs in less than two months. I've been doing the following: 1. Weight lifting 3-4 times per week, cardio 2-3 times per week 2. 1500-1900 calories per day 3. >120 grams of protein per day (to preserve muscle) Nothing more complicated…

I guess it depends where you're eating out, but my solution is usually to get one of the following: 1. Salad (no dressing) with grilled fish 2. Grilled chicken breast sandwich It's easy to find a close match in the MFP inventory. Or, if you're eating at a chain you can find the exact dish.

Muscle weighs a lot, and some of our frames are wider than others. So, weight in and of itself isn't a great indicator of health; it just may go against certain beauty standards set by the media. If you really are concerned, get your body fat % checked.
-
Keep it out of the house and avoid the temptation altogether.

I don't remember which organs are likely to shut down first, but you may want to start shopping for caskets... Fifteen year olds aren't usually very smart, but your brother takes the cake. Stop him if you care about him.

Body fat % is a better measure of healthiness than pure weight.

There are no dumb questions, only dumb people.

Don't ignore your body. If you feel absolutely starved during or after the hike, it's probably a good idea to replenish with a bit more food.
