First time I've logged over 100g protein without supplements!

I always thought I couldn't do it! I usually average 75g. And dang I'm so full!!

P.s. I'm not knocking protein supplements I usually use them.

How did you do it? I never get enough protein, I am not vegetarian but I usually only eat meat at 1 meal because I'm not always crazy about it. I feel if I ate more protein it would help with my satiety. It's so hard! I think technically I should be getting around 100 gm a day

Yes! The combo of protein and high volume vegetables keeps me nice a full. I get 130 grams of protein per day in a deficit and about 150 when I'm eating 1800 calories (maintenance).

100g is my minimum goal most days too. It can be tough and I often rely on my post workout shake. What did you eat?

The days I hit mine it's usually
Breakfast - coffee, cottage cheese or Greek yogurt
Lunch - eggs of some sort
Dinner - meat, veggies, and a rice dish side
Snack - protein shake or bar post workout

I gag down Fage Yogurt because it's easier than gagging down a protein shake despite hating yogurt. But I hate a majority of meats much more. The fact that I can get 12grams of protein from one, tiny container of Fage makes it worth eating at least one daily (and they're lower calorie than protein shakes, too!) But the other brands of Greek Yogurt make me ill just smelling them, for some reason. So if you're not a fan of yogurt, I find Fage to be the least offensive in both smell and taste.

Aww I love Fage. I eat a whole medium tub every night. Maybe it's because I can just taste the macros/gains.

Well today I ate 5 eggs! And a whole can of tuna. Some chicken. Usually I have so much trouble with protein which I don't understand because I eat 2200 Cals a day

Lol...I love eggs. I keep 2 jars of homemade pickled red beet eggs made at all times because I could literally live on them. Plus being pickled means they're good forever and always on hand for fast snacks and add on's to meals that lack protein. Or if my fam is having red meat or pork, I'll eat the sides and swap out the meat for 2 pickled eggs.

I'm a "salt/sour" addict, so it's the perfect fix for protein for me!

Sigh! I gain weight on 2200. I'd eat soooo much protein on those calories. Probably 170g daily easily.

High protein is easy if you have the right foods! My staples are egg whites, Greek yogurt, fish and poultry. Some whey in my fruit smoothies. Gets me to 150+ grams of protein daily, even going < 2,000 calories!

So I split up my macros. Instead of having all my fat come from the same source as my protein, I choose lean protein. So I won't eat an egg, I'll choose egg whites. I can eat double the amount of protein for a similar amount of calories. Then I can choose how many calories I want to spend on fat-maybe adding a bit of avocado. Personally I'm pretty low fat when I'm in weight loss mode though.

0% greek yogurt, protein bars, 6 oz of lean meat at dinner, light tuna, etc. Snack is always protein based, dessert is always protein based.

This. Also enjoying 1% cottage cheese. Delicious paired with blackberries for a snack. My diary is open... it's kind of repetitive but I'm eating things I like, sooo... I keep eating them XD

The fat part makes sense because my fat macros are always extremely high. At least 40% Thanks for all the advice!

Fat has the most calories per gram. 9 calories per gram. Carbs and protein have 4. Fat is important for hormone balance and nutrient absorption. The minimum for women is .35 grams of fat per pound of body weight. If you have room to bring that down, you'll have more room for protein :)

Where do you generally get those? do most grocery stores carry them? sounds good!
