Just because you have a desk job what's stopping you from working out outside of working hours. I have had a desk job for years. I put on the weight cause I got lazy not cause of my job. Happy to say I've pretty much reversed all of that with a better lifestyle when I'm not working

I'll meal prep is if I'm not going to be home for a day or more otherwise love my food prepped fresh

Not winging it at all. I eat the same meals, same portions (weighed) everyday for 6.8 days of the week. The other 0.2 of a day I mix it up with something nice but conservative to maintain a slight deficit. Workouts are on point with 5+ hours of weights and 6+ hours of cardio each week. Generally finish the day 1000+…

I've actually lost quite a bit of weight already (20kg since the start of the year) and stacked on some muscle as well just from eating well, watching calories and macros and working out heaps but finding this last chunk of fat is being presistant so I'm considering keto as it 'correct me if I'm wrong' utilises fat for…

Set your MFP goals to maintain your weight. No loss. Don't eat any of your workout calories back. It's a little bit backwards but it keeps you accountable as far as workouts are concerned. It means you eat normal and rely entirely on your workouts to put you in a deficit. That way it doesn't matter if your workout calories…

Don't weigh yourself so often. Once a week is plenty. You'll do your head in scale watching everyday

I do this bro. The 'cheat' meal thing for lack of a better word. I actually do it to maintain a diet that keeps my macros and micros on point while giving me the maximum amount of energy to get me through all the workouts I do each week but to make things easier for me when it comes to meal prep as well. Trying to just…

I could but honestly.. Quit the machine. There are so much more benefits in using a bar and weights.

As far as your workouts are concerned... If you are going to do legs twice a week I'd split them between quads and hamstrings one day and calves on the other day. So just a slight adjustment to what you have. Quads / Hamstrings Chest / Tris Back / Bis Shoulders / Calves Also weights before cardio so you utilise most of…

I do 1 warm up set with little to no weights to get the blood flowing to the muscle I'm about to work before I work it. I stretch now and then after a workout if a muscle group I trained a day or 2 before still feels a little tight.

I actually have my calories set to maintenance and rely on my workouts to put me in a deficit so I don't eat my workouts back. I've lost just over 1kg each week doing this but I do workout quite a bit.
-
My best advice is not to weigh yourself so much for starters. Once a week is plenty. Once every 2 weeks is better. Other than that. Eat right. Drink more. Exercise.

If you do believe it's appropriate. Get some long stretch bands and suspend yourself from the ceiling. This should take the strain off and help you to build up to unassisted push-ups using the correct form from the outset.
-
Yep I'd be inclined to wonder if it's appropriate as well or at least worth it.

You sound like my partner late last year. I kept saying she looked amazing. She felt uncomfortable. Same deal... she was a size 10 going on 12 then but had a heap of size 8 clothes. Now she's back to a size 8 and is happier. Happy partner. Happy life. Go do what you feel is right for you.
