After some health issues this past fall, I find myself gaining back some of the 60 lbs I'd lost over 4 years ago. Happy to say I'm back on track. Boy have I missed MFP!! Hello everyone!

I'm wearing scrub pants today that I couldn't wear 3 weeks ago. Feeling accomplished.

After 8 months of debilitating pain in my lower back, last week I had the first of 2 injections in my back. I went back to the gym this past Sunday and yesterday. I look forward to going again tomorrow. I'm beginning to feel like my old self again. I'm loving it!

You are an inspiration to so many people. I know you don't know me, but I'm so proud of you! I hope you get your answers and wishes at your local VA Hospital.

So happy to be able to wear the scrub tops that didn't fit me 5 weeks ago. Getting my mojo back and eating healthy again. My clothes are beginning to fit me once more.

I did that too. I went from pants size 24 to size 12. I thought the jeans in the laundry were my teenaged daughter's. They definitely looked too small. I was ecstatic. Congratulations. It's a wonderful feeling isn't it!

Five years ago I began my better health journey. My highest weight was 238 lbs. I knew I had to do something. A friend suggested MFP and figured I'd try it. It took 11months and many zumba classes but I managed to loose 60 lbs. Unfortunately I contracted COVID not once, but twice and that put me in a slump. I gained about…

I've learned that even the most dedicated people falter while trying to loose weight and that it's OK. Just pick up and start again. I can't tell you how many times I've had to remind myself that. Thank you so much MFP peeps!

You look amazing. Outstanding job. Congratulations

I made it through my zumba class with flying colors today. That hour went by so fast. I'm picking up the dance moves and can fully participate without having to stop to catch my breath. I just found out I can pick up a third class within the week. This girl is going for it!

My birthday is also on Halloween. Happy birthday to us! I love the pumpkin cake. I live in CT it might be worth the drive to get one next year!

My planned errands got canceled so I went to the gym instead. Win-win for me.

Loosing the last 15 lbs of my stuck at home COVID weight gain. As of today, I'm down 10lbs.

I'm still playing mind games with myself. At first I needed to loose 80 lbs. That big number seemed impossible. So I told my self that I want to loose only 10 lbs. I thought, "that I can do". I lost 60lbs, then COVID hit, gym closed and I lost my mojo. Put 25 lbs. back on, ugh! Last month I started up again. As of today…

After dropping my car off at the body shop, I walked the 1/4 mile to my gym. Did some leg work on the circuit first then my scheduled 1 hour zumba class then walked back to the body shop. Invigorating I must say.

Since it's getting cooler out here in New England, I found a nice jacket in my closet that I haven't been able to wear for the past year. Put it on today and had no problem zipping it up! Woo Hoo!

Outstanding! Proof the work is worth it. Congratulations.

I got my first "you look like you've lost weight" comment from a co-worker. Some people have no idea how good that makes me feel. I'm a happy camper. It's working!

I went to my first Zumba class in 3 months today. I'm in so much pain right now. It's wonderful. That means that it's working. Feels so good to be back on track.

I've been away for almost a year and a half now. After loosing 60 lbs by simply eating healthy and exercising I got off track. Thanks to COVID, my gym closing, my Mom passing away and then every excuse in the book I managed to gain back some of that weight. I originally wore a size 2x and got down into size 12! I threw…

My daughter will finally get to celebrate her college graduation at an actual ceremony. Heading to West Virginia University in May and I need to loose at least 15-20 lbs by then to look good for those photos which will last a lifetime. Already down 4 lbs.

I went to the gym 3 times this week. First time I've done that in over a year. Darn COVID. I was able to do a mile on the treadmill wearing a mask. I'm claustrophobic so it's very difficult but I DID IT!

After loosing 60 lbs within a year back in 2017-18 I managed to keep it off until this past April. Then....COVID hit. Gym closed, stuck at home, yada yada yada I managed to gain back almost 25 lbs. UGH. However, I made a deal with myself way back then. I started at a size 22-24 and got down to size 12-14. So I threw out…

I found old scrub tops that I made 2 years ago in size 2x. I took them apart, cut them down to a size medium and put them back together. My co-workers all think I went out an bought a whole new wardrobe of scrubs.

Side by side really shows a 50+lbs weight loss. Still a work in progress.

Down 52 and counting. I've got another 23 to go to get to my initial goal. Plus I'm gaining muscle now that I'm doing free weights! Woo Hoo!

Now that my husband's Dr. refuses to do his hip replacement until he looses 25 lbs, I finally have a gym buddy. He's even listening to me when I make suggestions on what he should and should not eat. We had a very nice chicken, broccoli and carrot with a little shredded cheddar cheese dinner last night. He actually liked…

I found out I'm going to be honored at a banquet next month so time to really kick things into gear. Back at the gym lifting weights for 3 times a week. I know there will be photographers there.
