I went from being a XXXL shirt on Feb.24 2002 when I started my journey to an XL today!25

I'm watching my calories and learning to listen to hunger cues rather than eating because food is present. Last night, I went out to eat with friends at a Mexican restaurant. I decided that one delicious steak taco was plenty for dinner. Others had chips, queso, and salsa, and they didn't even tempt me. I thoroughly enjoyed my taco and the company, but I only ate what I needed to fuel my body. NSV!21

I had to shop the after Christmas sales (something I avoid) for new workout clothes. It's embarrassing to have to keep stopping to hitch up too-big leggings while on walks!18

About 6 weeks ago I purchased size 8 jeans because they did not have a size 10 short in the ones I wanted and it was a really good sale. At that time I could not zip them up at all. Today I was able to get them on comfortably and they zipped up all the way!24

I had to order new bras with a smaller band!21

On todays 4 mile treadmill jog at 3.7 miles I closed my eyes and lost my footing expected to be flung off. I completely was off it but grabbed the handrails and managed to jump back on and finish 4.2 miles.. thankfully didn’t injure myself in any way.. 😅10

Ordered some size 18 pants today... my 20s are too baggy. I was in a 26 this time last year23

this is my 2nd Xmas that I didnt gain weight, Yea. I use to put on 7-8 lbs this time of year but I backed off sugar cookies and other sweets. Felt good I could wear my jeans.17

After some health issues this past fall, I find myself gaining back some of the 60 lbs I'd lost over 4 years ago. Happy to say I'm back on track. Boy have I missed MFP!! Hello everyone!16

I measured myself and i've lost 4inch from my bust, nearly 5 inch from my hips and 7.5inch from my waist!23

It was time to buy clothes as everything I owned was falling off me. I thought my next new goal was to get into single digit pants. I figured I had a few months to go and was currently about a 10 or a 12. I went shopping yesterday and found out I'm between a 6 and an 8. I stood stunned in the changing room. I'm 15 from goal and I'm super curious what my size will be at goal. I have never worn a 6 in my adult life. So wonderful and strange at the same time.22

Love this. I remember the same feeling of wonder when I had to keep going out of the dressing room for smaller and smaller sizes. My head and mirror hadn’t caught up to “real” changes. It was literally dizzying.4 -
I only had to adjust my bra once yesterday and with that bra that is kind of big as honestly it's too small.5

I got to move into a misses size 16 Lululemon flare yoga pants for working out in! I used to wear a plus size 2X work out pant. They were not too snug and fit perfect. I have been losing a little weight but even more seeing changes in body re-comp because of the heavy lifting I have been doing at the gym. Yeah!15

Not a NSV in the strictest sense of the term, but it made me laugh and is something I would have never thought of it I hadn't experienced it myself. So, my husband drives us places most of the time. I haven't needed to go anywhere by myself in a couple of months. I got my paperwork to renew my license plate tags last week and decided to go out today and do it. I get in the car and realize my butt has shrunk enough that my rearview mirror was now pointed too far up and I couldn't see the bottom of my rear window. LOL. I had to readjust it now that my head is lower in my seat than before. Not a side effect of losing weight that the average person would think of.21

@Wynterbourne I would definitely call that a NSV!3

It has been 15 years since I've been able to get down on the floor and back up again. A couple weeks ago I discovered that I could get down on the floor, play with my dog, and get up again--not gracefully, but effectively. PS. I'm 75.17

It's an amazing feeling when you first discover you can do that, isn't it. I'm 70 and understand totally what you're feeling.5 -
My son and daughter-in-law got me a sweater for Christmas in a size large. It was too big, so yesterday I exchanged it. I thought I would need a medium, but no, a small fit me perfectly!19
