Got measured yesterday (even though I didn't want to since the scale has been up). Down 6 inches in the spots I want to reduce and up 2 inches in the spots I want to increase. Still lots more work to do, but it's progress. :-)

Last year I lost 50 pounds, then I got distracted and regained 15, so I'm spending 100 days re-losing those and focusing on three challenges. 1) No flour 2) A minimum of thirty minutes of exercise daily 3) a work goal. I'm breaking it down into ten 10 day goals. So my first mini-goal is to finish the first ten days having…

I had an impromptu personal training session today. NSV 1 -- I'd already done thirty minutes of my workout today when the trainer I work with waved me over to say she had a cancellation for her next session which was in another thirty minutes if I wanted to stick around. My first NSV is that I said yes. I didn't…

Congrats @gen1917 :)

How utterly flabbergasting it is when someone who didn't know you pre-weight loss casually mentions that you have a cute figure.

Went kayaking for the first time ever. No issues getting in or out. Kept up with the group. But best of all got to see some dolphins and a manatee close up! (Couldn't/wouldn't have done that before weight loss.)

How using the foam roller would hurt so much less now that I lost 25% of my starting weight. I've avoided that particular agony for a long time, but a trainer convinced me to do a 30 minute session on one today and while it was painful, it wasn't the agony I remembered.

I have never been more jealous of an MFP post than I am of this one. :-)

1. Braved a dressing room to try on bathing suits. 2. Only brought in suits that are my "new" size to try on. 3. Bought two suits. Both size 8...instead of the 16 I wore last year.

LOL! Don't let her live it down! ;-)

People not recognizing me. I lost 25% of my bodyweight last year and twice last week I saw people I who passed me by because they didn't realize who I am. Very disconcerting.

Sorry for your losses. Inspired by your recommitment.

When I voted today, the woman checking my ID gasped and said, "Wow! You've lost a lot of weight."

For the first time in twenty years, I went horseback riding yesterday. This was a win for a couple of reasons. 1) I went. I didn't wait to find someone to go with me, I just went. I put off soooo many things I was heavier. Now I'm of the mindset that if I want something I should just go after it. 2) I didn't need help…

Took my first HIIT BootCamp class today. Got myself there. Didn't puke. Didn't quit. Didn't die. Counting that as a string of NSV's. ;-)

Love your story. Thanks for sharing!

Three NSVS. 1 -- My Active Release Therapist was working out of a CrossFit gym today so I had to go there for my session. When I walked inside (an idea that would have terrified me 48 pounds ago) I wasn't swamped with anxiety that everyone was staring at me because of my size. Nobody looked twice at me, lol. 2 -- Yesterday…

Lose 2 pounds by the 20th. That will mean I've achieved my interim goal of losing 50 pounds by the end of the year (started 4/15) and will have gotten to a healthy BMI. So close....

Awesome job!

I've actually learned not to eat my feelings. I had an emotionally challenging week, the kind that in the past would have had me self-soothing with multiple binges. Instead of eating I did more walking, journalling and meditating. When I went through a similarly tough time a couple of months ago, I told myself that it was…

Good for you! You still beat everyone sitting on the couch. Keep up the great work!
