  • They believe it's due to 2 abdominal surgeries causing adhesions, but I also have a hernia that may be causing it. They're giving me 24 hours on Magnesium Sulfate. If that doesn't work, I'll be having surgery to fix the problem.
  • Thanks for the kind words! They're not sure what caused it. I wish I knew! But, I was ready to throw in the towel on this program because I couldn't consume enough calories, wasn't losing weight, & my stomach makes me look pregnant. I'm so glad I went in though! My doctor says that everything I'm doing is great! I'll keep…
  • I work out everyday but Sunday. I try to be extremely vigorous with my workouts, although I do spread them out over the whole day. Typically about 2 hours. My daily goal is 1250 calories. I usually end up consuming about 1000. When I add in the exercises, it will tell me to eat 1700+ more calories. That's just too much…
  • No, there aren't any other health problems. It just is confusing to me! Do you add back in your exercise calories, or just meet your calories goal? Maybe it's just me, as I'm no nutritionist, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of exercising? I have not eaten the calories burned from exercise. Am I supposed to?
  • Thank you all for your replies! I am starting to believe I really don't understand the program?! If it says I've exceeded my protein, fat goals then should I only consume carbs the rest of the day. Does doing exercises change the chart? I've no idea what I'm doing, I guess?!
  • I come close to the calories MFP says I should be eating. But I've never exceeded them. The summer is especially hard as I live in Arizona and the heat just makes me nauseous. I also have rheumatoid arthritis which, I follow my PT orders and push myself hard to finish all the exercises he wants me to do. I also have…
  • Thank you, but being new to this app I don't know where to look? It only shows restaurants or scan the barcode! So, I'm still not finding it. Sorry
  • I have been on medication that caused my weight to skyrocket to 220 lbs. I lost the first 60 on my own. I'm never hungry and have been that way as long as I can remember. Yesterday, as an example, I was not hungry at all and only consumed 100 calories for the day. I'm no longer on the medication because of the weight gain…
  • Yes, I measure everything I eat and log it immediately.
  • I lost 2 pounds and then gained them right back! I'm 5'8 and started at 161, lost 2 and am back to 161. I stay within calorie range suggested even though I never eat as much as they say I should. I exercise everyday now and still can't lose weight! I'm about ready to throw in the towel!!
