I'm starting again too. I've lost 23 pounds since April but after a birthday celebration yesterday, I'm recommitting. Excited to start over.

Recommitting. My Fitness Pal works. I've had the most success by tracking and measuring my food. When I choose to ignore what I'm putting in my mouth (and logging it), I gain. Why am I such a slow learner?!!

I told my husband that it's a good thing I'm retired. I spend HOURS calculating menus, meals, and macros (and logging). I love trying new recipes so researching and preparing takes a lot of time as well.

I like to make crustless cheese quiche in a 9x9 pan to eat all week. I throw in either ham or sausage with onion and red and/or green pepper. Another quickie is 2 Jimmy Dean turkey sausage patties with a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each, cooked in the microwave until the cheese is melted.

I am consuming 100 - 500 less than MFP recommends AFTER allowing for exercise. I've been hovering around the same weight (within 4 pounds) for 4 months. I did have a 10 day vacation in the middle of that, which didn't help. I'm 5'3" - 159 pounds. I'd like to lose 20 more pounds. Thanks for your response.

Over the weekend I made Cheesy Ham Chowder and have been eating that for the last couple of days, along with leftover pork medallions with Monterey Jack cheese. The entire meal is under 450 calories. - 5 carbs/32g fat/29g protein. Very filling.

My latest lunch fav is 2 ounces of deli roast beef, a squirt of horsey sauce, with a slice of Monterrey jack cheese rolled up. I eat that with a side of spinach that I saute in garlic butter. 3 carbs/25 fat/20 protein - 312 calories.
